2nd Place (WHOO HOOO), New Project on Mirrix Loom and Last Hours to Enter Beauty of Mauve Sunset #GiveAWay

First let me just tell you how wonderful my weekend was!!  I spend it with amazing people at an amazing show!!  The weather was just about perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a better helper (my daughter)!!

With all that being said, let me tell you why I did the happy dance for most of the show!!  Remember I asked you what item you thought I should enter into the jury?  Well, they did things differently this year.  They actually came into my booth and picked an item they wanted to jury!  They choose Lady Moragon…..

And guess what…..I won 2nd place….and that just makes me smile (one of those crazy women smiles) and do the happy dance (good things I have new knees)!!!

I have done this show several years, in the spring and fall and I have to tell you, this is the highest I have ever won and I am still doing the happy dance….each time I glance over at the ribbon….now proudly laying on my bead tray!!

I finished the Snowman bracelet over the weekend and I plan on getting the photos and listing done later today or first thing in the morning!!  Today I get to start something new!!  I will be starting another project on the  Mirrix Looms!  This one I will be trying the shed tool!!  I have never used this system before and I hope that I can warp it and make it work…..I probably should start with a SMALL project, but of course I am starting with a pattern I designed that is 198 beads wide….wish me luck!!  Remember that you can check out my Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page throughout the day to watch updates and working photos.
