Bead Peeps Swap n Hop 2016

I have to say that I am excited about this swap!!  I was matched up with an amazing artist from India – Palak Udeshi (her blog is – http://kalaabhushan.blogspot.in/)!  What an amazing lady!  Not only is she a talented bead artist, but an amazing mother!! I have had so much fun getting to know her and her story!!  As I was getting things together to send to her I was not only excited but also thinking of all the things that she might not be able to get in India that we have in the US.

So, I gathered, gathered a little more and then added just the last thing or two!! Here is what I sent her…

my swap to her 1

And here is what she sent me….aren’t they all amazing!!?!?!  Just look at that Buddha…I fell in love with it the moment I saw it!!

my swap from her 1

my swap from her 4

my swap from her 3

my swap from her 2

So I set out to create….but not just anything, EVERYTHING!! I only ended up with a few spare items…just LOOK at what I made!!

OH MY GOODNESS, I almost forgot…A few days before this reveal (thanks customs) I received MORE beautiful items to make creations with from my partner.  I haven’t had a chance to make anything with these yet, but I will!! They are hand-pained coconut shells!! OH MY!!!!

I love the Buddha pendant and what you did with it. The necklace with the flowers cascading down the side of the focal is genius. All of your pieces are beautiful! I’m a little sad that I didn’t see any of those cutie littler birds in anything… Unless I overlooked them. I love anything with birds, but with as many pieces and as intricate as they are I will get over the birds.

Those hand painted coconut shells are amazing!! I can’t wait to see what you make with them!

    • Krafty Max
      |

NO, I didn’t use the birds yet…just ran out of time. But I WILL…along with the hand painted coconut shells!! THANK YOU!! ~KM
