Black and White Elegance Necklace Set and a New Creation (Camphor Wood)

Well, I finished the Black and White creation and very happy with the way that it turned out! What do YOU think of it? I think it turned out very elegant and one of those that you can dress up or dress down depending on what you are wearing or where you are going!!

And of course when I finish one creation I get to start something new!! Today I am going to start on one of the wood pieces that I brought back from California!  This wood is Camphor wood and it is from a limb that my dad cut down some time ago (so it is very dry).  My father and I cut it and then I sanded (several times) and then sealed it with lacquer!!  So if you are really close you can still smell it a little, but just barely!! One thing that is also nice about wood (most any type) is that it is very light! So, here we gooooooo!  I have picked out beads for this one that match it almost perfectly…so the WOOD will be the focal! So, with that I will go and finish the dishes and kick (I mean send) the kids and hubby out of the house so I can get to the bead tray!  But I’ll leave you with this thought;
