ARCTIC Air and Pink Pearls!

Today I am feeling motivated and very COLD!!  Yep, after several months (and an amount of money I don’t want to talk about) we not only have an AC we have ARCTIC AIR!!

It is amazing how this ‘not having AC’ has effected our lives!!  Living in North Florida it is HOT, but it is the humidity that is the worst!! During the days – even with 2 window units – we were often getting into the 90s in the house!!  So cooking and cleaning were something that I had to do in the morning or not at all!!  Our house was covered with FANS!!  Yes, we had portable fans EVERYWHERE!!  And they moved.  When it was bedtime it was time to move the fans to the bed rooms!!  The doors were open at night so that we cold get whatever ‘cooler’ air there was, but then it would RAIN….close the doors!!  But, the rain would cool off the house…..  I have to tell you that I grew up basically without AC in Northern California, but the climate was just sooooo different!!

So, COLD and INSPIRED is the way today is starting….and I am ecstatic about it!! 🙂

Here is today’s new listing…this one is FUN and unique!!  I called it Pink Drops of Pearl and Champagne Necklace Set – and if you look close there are little Champagne colored Swarovski Crystals between each pearl!!

I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley and we too didn’t have AC just portable fans. Now living up here in the Northeast we just have Ceiling fans and there are days where I would kill to have AC. Glad to hear that you finally got your AC fixed and are much cooler although, I don’t want you to freeze either, as I want to keep seeing your beautiful work. Keep on beading!

I grew up without A/C. We had two fans which were in kitchen and in living room. At night they were moved to the bedrooms. I can totally relate. Humidity is higher in southern Indiana in the summer but I wouldn’t have traded it for anything. The sound of the crickets and frogs at night was priceless, even if it was hard to sleep, ha. 🙂
