Good Morning!! How is everyone today? I hope everyone is well and off to a great start!! It has been a little crazy around here, but I still managed to get to my bead tray and work on the sample of the Koi Pond from the Monthly Beadwoven Art in a Bag for April….that is what I will be working on today. Then I want to do a look back at a previous listing-Sunset Rose , and tell you a little bit more about this beautiful piece, and lastly for today, I will have the listing of the Monthly Beadwoven Art in a Bag for you all!!
It was a crazy weekend but I did work on the Koi Pond some and had some extra time last night so I managed to get to row 110!! Can you believe that it has 5,060 beads already?!?! Just look at those bright, bold, and beautiful colors coming out on the Koi fish and in the water of the pond!! I just love that you see the top part of the Koi fish and hints of the rest of the Koi under the water. Remember this is the work up of the Monthly Beadwoven Art in a Bag kit for this month!! Now as I am working on the Monthly Beadwoven Art in a Bag right now, I do not have a new listing for you all today, but what I do have is a beautiful piece of wearable artwork that I previously listed and wanted to share with you all again 🙂 Some of you might remember this piece and for some, this might be the first time seeing it- Sunset Rose Beadwoven Wearable Art Necklace and Hoop Earring Set. The center contains a beautiful rose that was inlayed into it!! It is very light weight and suitable to wear any time of the year! This set was made using Peyote and Herringbone stitches and I added Swarovski crystals around the bezel making it seem like the sun was setting behind the Rose…hence the name Sunset Rose 🙂 If you would like to know more about this amazing creation, just give the link a click!
And now for April’s NEW Beadwoven 5×7 Art in a Bag…It is now up and listed in my shop!!! What is a Beadwoven Art in the Bag, you may ask? A Beadwoven Art in the Bag is a Kit that is designed to be stitched in the Peyote fashion, just like the bracelet kit of the month, except it is much bigger and when finished can be mounted to the canvas included in the kit, to hang on the wall or put on a shelf.
