Blog Hop – Ways to Save Money

The Blog Hop theme for this Monday is “WAYS TO SAVE MONEY”. The economy is down and inflation is around the corner. Saving money at home on food, living expenses and lifestyle is going to be a big concern. Blog about your favorite ways to save money. If you don’t have any from your own experience, then do some Googling and find some ways.
We need to build a content center on MckLinky filled with thousands of ways to save money and reduce expenses.

I am a great coupon ‘queen’ and have a large 4×6 index file full of coupons, but what I find helps me save the most is just to recyle.  I am great for:
~ using used (or unused) dryer sheets to defog a window
~ using newspaper to clean windows and mirrors
~ using old dish sponges for cleaning the bathroom
(toothbrushes too)
~ using and reusing paper bags from the store
(or using cloth bags for shopping)
~ using misprinted sheets of paper from my printer for
my kids to color on or for shopping lists
~ making homemade sweet tea instead of buying it
~ making my husband and kids breakfasts and lunches
~packing my husband a cooler (he is a UPS Driver)
to take to work
~ and cooking most nights at home instead of
going out or ordering in
Everyone can find something to help save money, time or both!  Enjoy!! ~KM

These are very good tips. I agree with recycling. My Mom recycled and did not know she was helping the environment. She was just thrifty.
