I also will be working on my Dragonfly ACEO again today! Here is where I left off last night; 22 beads per row x 68 rows = 1,496 beads so far and more to go today!
I was asked again what an ACEO means – ACEO is an acronym that stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals. You probably have also heard the ONLY rule is the size, which is 2.5 x 3.5 inches (6.4 x 8.9 cms) just like sports cards but far more addictive. Traditionally ACEO’s are drawn/painted or colored….I (of course) do them out of beads!
The Bead-A-Long! Boy this ‘little idea’ seems to have taken on a life of its own! There are several people already getting into the spirit of it! I am getting excited too! I think the kits are going to run about $15-18 with everything you need in them! I am still getting everything together, but I want to get the kits out before the holidays..that way we can start right up after Christmas!! So keep watching and I’ll post updates ASAP!!
