What a weekend we had!! And, for us, it is not really over. The kids don’t go back to school until Wednesday, so for us, it is still FUN TIME!!!
I have had so much going on for the past few months it was nice to actually ‘take a day off’. There are many times over the weekend that I am so busy that I don’t get time to do anything!! For me it is the time to catch up on the housework, laundry, any errands that I have and such. Even though I am home during the week I have to use that time for beading. Most people don’t realize this (other artists/crafters in this position will) but for me this is just like a full time job. There is a ‘clock in’ time to start beading, a lunch break and a ‘clock out’ time. Yes, they are more flexible than most jobs, but I have to be able to bead, do computer work and such each day or my business suffers. And for those of you who might not know, I am a full fledged business. I pay taxes, have a bank account and business license!! I haven’t been able to make a million dollars yet, but I am getting there! 😉 ha ha ha ha !!

Did you see the Dragonfly Sun-catcher finished??? I haven’t been able to get photos of it yet, but I did get a ‘working photo’ of it finished….what do you think??
So, that means that today I get to start another creation!!! YEP!! I picked this red cameo out of my Grandmother’s stash and I have to say, it is very beautiful in person!! I do NOT know how old it is or why type of stone it is, but I just love it!!!
