Making Monday 3/9/15 (St Augustine Lions Festival, New Cuff and Blue Peacock)

Oh my goodness, what a weekend!! I had so much fun at the St Augustine Lions Festival!  It was COLD and RAINING on Friday, but Sat and Sun….wonderful!!  There were so many people eating great seafood and enjoying all the art booths!  I have to tell you, the pirates got me every time….do you know how to ‘walk the plank’??  I do and it was just toooo cute!!
Here are some photos of my booth set-up (if you missed any from the weekends posts)!
And here is just some of the great seafood we ate over the weekend!!

I posted this one on Friday, but I didn’t get to show it off on my blog, so here it is!! 🙂

I will be pulling colors for this beautiful peacock shell later today… first I must unload and unpack from the show!!  Remember, you can come over to my Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page  were I post ‘working’ photos throughout the day.
This one ends today, make sure you enter!! 🙂
Just a side note, I have received a lot of comments about my portrait and some of my larger more intricate designs.  I am considering changing some of my direction.  Do you, my avid followers, have any comments about it?  Also, I am considering raising my prices (not on the already listed items, but on new creations) to be more in the ‘main stream’ pricing.  My talent and skills have increased a great deal over the past few years, but my prices have stayed relatively the same.  Please leave me feedback on this….I really do want to know what you think!
Today I would like to leave you with this thought;

Life isn’t about finding yourself.
Life is about creating yourself.  ~George Bernard Shaw

    Your work is definitely worth what you are charging, but for me, it’s out of my price range unfortunately. I will be using both my gift certs soon though…I want to see what you make out of that peacock! As a crafter myself, I keep my prices on the low end b/c times are still hard and when people have to choose between food and a discretionary purchase like jewelry, I’d rather make the sale than not.
