What was your weekend like? Mine, just about perfect!! We ended up having repetitively nice weather, some friends visiting and I was able to bead almost all weekend!! Yep, just about perfect!! And you should see what I made!! I was a busy little beader!! 🙂 Since I have so many things to show you, let’s get to it!!!
As many of you know I finished the sunflower bracelet, and it turned out wonderfully!!
And then I was able to bead and finish a few pairs of earrings! What do you think? These can be made in just about every color combination you are looking for!!
And through all that I even was able to list something new – just for today!! This wonderful Red Creek Jasper and Smoky Quartz necklace set is another one of those that you can wear with jeans to a BBQ or with a suit for work!!
I started this one yesterday and so far it has ‘stumped’ all those who guess!!! 🙂 I want you to not only guess WHAT the design is, but also WHAT it will be. It isn’t a bracelet, necklace or anything you can wear. And here is another hint, it is for a MAN!!! Come on over and watch the creation grow on my Fan Page or Google+ page throughout the day!!
And, of course, there is still the give-a-way going on!! You really must go enter, even if you are not a beader (it would make a great gift for someone who is). And remember, there are daily entries (twitter post) for those who want more chances!!
Today’s featured artist is: HowlinHounds. This amazing artist has combined her two loves – sewing and long eared dogs!! I just love these ‘snoods’. The are perfect for any dog in your family, not just the long eared ones! And then, as you look around this great studio, you’ll also find costumes, treat bags and even business card holders for dog lovers (and more). I must tell you that although I don’t anymore, I used to have a long eared dog and these would have been perfect!! Please check out this great studio and remember to always support handmade artists – we create out of love!
Today I would like to leave you with this thought;
Imagination is the eye of the soul.
