Memorial Day Weekend, Mistress Ivalyn (wearable art necklace), New Project (working) and Memorial Day Sale

OH MY!!  What a weekend I had!!  I made a traditional “BBQ” meal with all the fixing (didn’t get a photo) and a homemade Apple Pie! There was a LOT of food, great family and friends!! Because my husband is still military, I am previous military and most of our families are (or were) in one branch or another this holiday is special for us.  It was very hard to explain to my son what the day meant, but I thought it was important.  I basically told him that this was the day that all military get honored, but those that have passed protecting us deserve our special thoughts.  Although I feel the meaning very deeply it is hard to put it into words and express those feelings.  What does it mean to YOU?

And although I didn’t do much beading I was able to get my green creation finished and listed…here she is… Mistress Ivalyn…. what do YOU think?

Did you see the sale I am having? It is expiring tomorrow night, so now is the time!!  Grab up what you want and help me clear out some of my inventory!!!

And of course I get to start something new this morning!! Are YOU ready? It is a pattern that has been taken from something else I already made…let’s see if YOU like it! Remember that you can check out my Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page throughout the day to watch updates and working photos.

I guess that is it for today…I am off to bead…but I’ll leave you with this thought;

A garden is always a series of losses set against a few triumphs, like life itself.  ~May Sarton
