Our Mini Trip FUN and a New Project!

We are BACK!!  It was a short trip with LOTS of things happening…well, sorta….but we are back!! Here is a short of it…..

We left first thing Monday morning to go to Tifton Ga (a 2.5 hours drive away).  I didn’t look at the map right and it took us 4.5 hours!  When we got to the place we were supposed to visit the sign said they were closed on Mondays.  Well, OK, we went to the hotel and relaxed.  A quick swim in the indoor pool while it POURED outside was interesting!!

A sleepless night in uncomfortable beds didn’t do much for our attitude.  But, we ate a great breakfast and headed back out.  When we go there it we found out that the Store was open but all the rest was closed until September.

OK, we’ll move on to the next event…..a wonderful springs with great photos and reviews.  Back in the car and off for another 1.5 hour drive.  The spring, after we finally found it, hadn’t been used in years.  They are keeping up the grounds, but you are not allowed (and don’t want to) swim in the water…..

OK, we’ll try something else!  Off to the ZOO.  Yep, that should be good.  With 1/2 of the exhibits closed do to storm damage and the other few animals hiding because of the heat we were a bit weary!!

So, we decided to make the 3.5 hour drive home without staying another night.

Don’t get me wrong, it was still a great family trip and we did have fun, but it seemed like a waste!!  And can I just tell you that traveling with a special needs child over 750 miles in 2 days in a car….not the best thing.  But we made it, we are happy to be home, and we all are stronger for it!

But for me, it is back to my passion of beading and working on my creations!!  And before we left I had actually started something new, here are the colors!! You can come over to my Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page throughout the day to watch updates and working photos!
