I discovered this amazing artist through FB and just fell in love with her faces! Once I contacted Peace Train Art she developed an AMAZING was for me to be able to work with her faces (and more importantly the hair)! Then she made me this beautiful Rainbow Queen to work with! I matched her up with many beads and got to work!! I think that she turned out even better than either of us could have envisioned!! She is one of a kind from start to finish!! Because she is made of clay and beads she is also VERY lightweight!!
This necklace took over 26 hours to complete. I used peyote, square stitch and herringbone stitch to complete it. The center is made without the use of GLUE or BACKING. The center sets inside beads that are between 11o and 15o (this means there are between 11 – 15 beads per inch).
Necklace measures at 19.5 – 21.5 inches in length and can be lengthened if needed.
