Oh my, what a great day yesterday was!! The kids had it off because of Presidents Day, but because it was such a beautiful day they were outside most of the day….now today, rain and tomorrow COLD! But we’ll take what we can!! 🙂 I hope that your day is full of inspiration (you’ll get some from my featured artist) and you pass it along to others….with this much winter I think we ALL need inspiration – AND SPRING!!
I only started this necklace yesterday, but so far I am ‘loving’ it!! There is so much personality to it already!! Today I hope to finish the one I have been working on and start on another one!! Today I have the honor to introduce you to NIcci Seibert the owner and designer of Sew Freakin Happy!! When asked what she makes, she stated ‘recycled sweater creations’….but I like this answer better….I love turning things into other things….and that says it all!! I have been a fan of her creations for a while now and I have to say, they are all wonderful!!
About 12 years ago this wonderful artist taught herself to sew and started taking already made creations and re-creating them into something MORE. Now she uses a serger (only purchased a few years ago) and finds that even with all that sewing she is still learning!
Like many of us she started out making things for her family and friends, but now, she sells online and at craft shows. And you’ll see why when you look at her creations!!
