I actually have a tantrum I would like to write today, however, I think I will wait. With all the violence that happened in Newtown, I personally thank that it is to soon to talk about it. For me, it is something that will have to ‘sink in’ for a while before I really get past the shock of what happened. I send my kids off – just like most of you – to school everyday thinking that the worst that will happen is they will get bullied…. this really makes you pause and be thankful for what you have.
One that note I have started my auction. I am very hopeful of getting a great final bid for this bracelet. All of the proceeds will be going to a survivors fund from the tragedy in Newtown. This auction will take place from 12/19/12 5am until 12/23/12 5pm, on my Fan Page, simply CLICK HERE (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151196658628737.453851.113166813736&type=1).
For those of you who might have forgotten, there is still a sale going on in my Krafty Max Originals ArtFire studio – until the end of the year – everything is 20% off. For me, this is a BIG sale!!! This does include Gift Certificates too, which would be a great last minute gift – they are emailed within 24 hours!!! So, come visit my studio and see what you can find… I know you’ll like something!!
Here is my new listing for today… it is simple, but full of love!
Today’s featured artist is; GieseDeseiGns. These cute little BOOTS were just to much for me to NOT feature! I only wish I had little one’s that small again – well, maybe not, but they still are one of the cutest things I have ever seen!!! Then, when I went to this great artist bio page I found this quote that fits so many of us ‘possessed’ type of artists – it was made about the time when they travel…. ‘He might like me to drive too, but, my skills are better at the needle than the wheel.’ You really need to check out this amazing studio, it is has items for adults and kids that just make you smile. Also, remember to support handmade artists whenever you can.
And now, for a closing thought….
Love is like a beautiful flower which I may not touch, but whose fragrance makes the garden a place of delight just the same. – Helen Keller
