Today I have something very serious to talk to you about.
Breast Cancer
I want to remind everyone that this month is
Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I know that most of you just can’t miss it….everywhere you look there is PINK. But, it is so much more than that. How many of you have been touch by Breast Cancer? I have. There are so many – MANY – people in my life that have been effected by this specific disease.
What is Breast Cancer?
Breast cancer is a disease in which malignant(cancer) cells form in the tissues of the breast. It is considered a heterogeneous disease—differing by individual, age group, and even the kinds of cells within the tumors themselves. Obviously no woman wants to receive this diagnosis, but hearing the words “breast cancer” doesn’t always mean an end. It can be the beginning of learning how to fight, getting the facts and finding hope.
For those of my readers – that are women – do your self exams, get your mammograms and have your regular check ups – also have an
Early Detection Plan.
It is not easy for most women to face, but detected early it is treatable.
PLEASE, allow your family to enjoy you and all you have to give to them by taking care of your own health.
