Terrific Tuesday 2/21/12

My goodness, what a day yesterday was.  Life seems to just keep going, no matter how much I want it to slow down!!  I did get a chance to bead, well, a few minutes at least!!  I actually got to finish my beadwoven needle cases!  FINALLY!  Here it the first one, what do you think?

Now I’m off to try to work on my 5th-bead-soup-blog-party creation – well, actually creations!  I am NOT aloud to show off what I am making until the reveal – March 3rd.  I am trying to get everything done that I want to create with the wonderful beads I got from beadedbysandra.  Maybe I’ll show you a ‘teaser’ photo later in the week!?!

Alright, now not all of you may know this, but I am also an avid scrapbooker, too!  Yep!  So, when I found today’s featured artist, missteacherlady, and I was thrilled!!  Just look at these great skulls – perfect for your monster and mine!  This 9th grade English teacher finds comfort and solace in creating these wonderful scrapbook embellishments!  Please go check out her studio and all her other sites – remember, to support handmade artists!!

As a closing thought I would like to leave you with this:
You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind.

Love the needle case! Looks like way too much work for my ‘skill level’ with seed beads and patterns but I love it.
