Yesterday my drive was slowed….it was very hard to keep my spirits up with the contest coming in the way it did yesterday, but so much has happened since then. The #1 entry has an issue with some of the votes and about 300 of her votes (it doesn’t really matter what happened) were taken back – at her own request. This whole issue also had the 2nd place entry questioning the contest, so she decided to withdrawal from the competition. Now, don’t get me wrong, I want to win – VERY BADLY – however, I want to win because of YOU – my fans/friends/followers and family. I would like to get the most votes and to have a wonderful advertising package for my studio. But, no matter what happens until tomorrow night I would like to say that I am humbled and honored to have so many wonderful fans/friends/followers and family that would gain me so many votes!!
Now, with all that said, please SHARE again!! I know that you can only vote once per IP address, but you can SHARE as much as you want. So, yesterday I was able to finish a project and start a new one!! First the finished one….yes, I was going to sell it, however, my daughter saw it….so, it is hers!! Having a teenager who loves jewelry in the home of a beader… not a really good idea!?!?! But, I’d like to show it off to you before she gets it!!!
So then I was able to start a new project – a Turtle!! Yes, it is from Wings-n-Scales – I just love her creations (if you want to see the Cabochon I bought from her you can see it here – Past Post). Here is where I started and how far I got yesterday, but if you want to come over and to my Fan Page or Google+ page throughout the day you can watch it grow!!

Today’s featured artist is; MemoriesNthyme. This amazing artist not only supports herself with her art, but also home schools her children….wow!! These wonderful heating pads can warm you on a cold night or help take out the ‘hurt’ out of your body!! I just love all the colors, styles and themes she has in her studio – there are literately page after page of great creations….did I mention the candles yet? You’ll have to go check this studio out to see for yourself, but remember, always support handmade artist if you can!
