Wonderful Wednesday 10/17/12

Today I was to start off by showing photos of my kids from the weekend ‘outing’.  We went down to the water (we were staying on a beautiful lake) and there were lots of water plants in the water… now me, I am a country kid who grew up in the ‘woods’ – my kids, not so much!  They are city kids and they are used to swimming in the pool!  So here they are, figuring out that there are ‘plants’ in the water….at this point, they are NOT getting in…. not even a little!!!

Well, I am finally able to show off this creation!!  I have to say that this one seemed to take me a long time.  I think it was only because I had to keep stopping and starting.  Usually I work on the beadwork on my tray with, little to no distraction until it is done.  This time there were several days in the middle of the project where I had to stop and start.  But, it is done and it is BEAUTIFUL – or at least I think so!  If you click on the photo it will take you to the video showing you the steps it took to create this….

Then there is the listing for today – this one is for the CreationsColorChallengeGroup.  This is a FUN group where we try to inspire ourselves and others with a new color combination every other week.  This week was the BLUE and GOLD combo….here is what I came up with, what do you think???
