Hello & Happy Monday💕!! How is everyone doing lately?!?! I’ve gotten back to being well again and beading away and going out to the shows/festivals on the weekends. I’ve also been trying to work on more designing of patterns and kits as well as other things too!! Did you all see the sale I had?!?! I hope that you all were able to get onto my shop site and get the items you all wanted and not have any problems…I think there were a few people who did tell me they had problems 😔. In the past two weeks I have managed to finish the bird house bracelet and list it, then start a 5×7 art and finish that one as well and even do another bracelet that I finished up on this past Friday and hope to get it listed today sometime or by tomorrow. So, for today, I’d like to go back through the past two weeks (4/17-4/30) and do a review of what I worked on and was able to finish and list in my shop. Let’s go ahead and check out what has been going on in my world of beading ☺!
Before I get into going over the WIP’s that I started during these past two weeks, let talk about the Kit of the Month for April and then the left-over available kits from the past!! There are only a few more days to grab it up!! For April I wanted to do something fun, cute and spring like and what better way to do that then with a cute Yellow Spring Bird perched on a branch with bright blooms on it?!?! This is a 2-drop even count peyote pattern and everything you need to make this kit is include except the thread!! So, with this kit, you will get: the printed word pattern, all Delica beads needed, plated bar ends and findings and even needle!! This kit will be available to order from 4/10 until 5/4/23 and mailed out on 5/11/23. This pattern is only available through the purchase of this month’s kit. Remember, these kits are sold month to month, and you can buy whichever ones you want/need ☺. Also, Delica colors in kits are subject to availability and may be substituted if necessary. Also, as of right now, this will be the last kit of the month design until maybe summertime or longer. I am not getting enough sales at this time to keep up with making more, however, you can still get past kits that I have available in my shop. I will re-visit Kit of the Month in the upcoming months ☺.

Two weeks ago, I finished the Birdhouse bracelet and also listed it in my shop! When I stopped working on it on 4/14, I only had a little more to finish it and ended up finishing it during that weekend as well as getting all the final photography done for it but before I could even list it in my shop, it SOLD!! I love when this happens but I’m sure it is sad for some of you…good news is, that it is still available as a pattern in my shop that you can get and make for yourself 😉. So, here I will still show you the final outcome of the bracelet and then I’ll put up the photo of the pattern and put the link for it from my shop!!
When I came back from being ill, I ended up starting my week out on 4/18 and had already started the next WIP…a 5×7 art tapestry of a yellow rose of the first 20 rows (960 beads) and there you could see the top petals peeking out along with the black background and some silver scroll work on the outer corners-basically like a frame around the rose. By the end of that day, deciding to get PIZZA for dinner, I finished at row 40 (1920 beads) and could see into part of the center of the yellow rose and more scroll work on the one side. On Wednesday 4/19, I kicked off my day at row 45 (2160 beads) and more scroll work and more of the rose coming through…I know they are simple colors and only a few, but these colors just POP in this design. I beaded through out day until it was time for my BINGO night adventure and managed to get to row 65 (3120 beads) and more of the rose & scroll work showing. Then on 4/20, I picked back up at row 75 (3600) with more of the rose and scroll work coming through. By the end of that day, I had managed to get to row 95 (4560 beads) and now could start to see the base of the rose with a light olive green color. On Friday 4/21, I started off with more rows (after doing a few sets before bed the night before) at row 105 (5040 beads) and there you could really start to see the GREEN with more of the stem and a leaf showing. At the end of that day, I had stopped at row 125 (6000 beads) and there you could see more of the stem and leaves as well as the scroll work on the sides. I ended up doing some work on it during that weekend and came back the week of 4/24 (Monday) starting off at row 145 (6950 beads) and there were now more leaves coming out from the stem from other side and more scroll work. I beaded throughout the day and ended up stopping at row 165 (7920 beads) and at that point it was just a little bit more to go to complete the stem and leaves and scroll work on the edges. the next day 4/25, I started out at row 180 (8640 beads) after working on it more the night before!! Looking AMAZING already and not much more to do 😉!! By the time it was time to get dinner, I finished at row 200 (9600 beads) …it was almost complete there but still needed to add a few more rows. So, 4/26 I came back to my tray and finished those rows and finished at row 210 (10,080 beads) …only needed to get it framed (had something really special planned for frame) and getting the final photos for the listing. I managed to get all that done and will show you the working photos from each week then the listing of the Art in my shop 💕!! Maybe soon, I will have the pattern available in my shop for those who might like to try their hand at making one for themselves ☺!

The last thing that I have to show for the rest of these past two weeks, is the WIP that I started after finishing the Rose Art on 4/26 of a unique flower. I ended up using a two different colored background for this one…maybe you can see it, the difference in color though might be hard for some to tell. I started with the first 10 rows (160 beads) and was mostly the background color with a hint of the color from the flower starting. When it was time to get ready for my weekly Bingo night, I had stopped at row 40 (640 beads) you could see the unique flower top and part of the bottom of it. Thursday 4/27, I started off on row 50 (800 beads) and there you could see the start of the stem, leaf, and hint of another flower starting. By the end of that day, I had finished up to row 90 (1440 beads) and just look at those cute little shoots off flowers from the stem and the leaves!! When I came back on Friday 4/28, I started off at row 120 (1920 beads) with more of the stem, shoot off flowers and leaves continuing. By the end of this day, I managed to finish the whole bracelet at row 160 (2560 beads). Just look at those cute little flowers coming off the main one…and now it is easier to tell the 2 toned color background!! I will probably have it listed for my shop by today or tomorrow…so remember, you can stop by any of my pages @ Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page to check in to see where I am at and what new things, I have to show you all!! Let’s go ahead and look at some of those working photos for now ☺.
