Happy Monday & Welcome to April💕!! How is everyone doing today?!?! It has been awhile since I last posted and there have been times where I did take a day off because of visiting family out of town and having to drive back or because my computer decided to have issues uploading images to post, but nevertheless, I am going to share with you what I have been up to these past two weeks with my WIP’s, Listings, K~Max Klub news and any other news I need to share😉. So, let’s go ahead and get those beads rolling and sharing for the days between 3/21-4/2.
I ended up starting my one week of on Tuesday, the 21st, coming back from visiting family and still working on the WIP of the 5×7 Day of the Dead Girl. I began with 55 rows (2640 beads) and at that point you could see about half of the face and a good portion of her hair/eyes done. By the time I finished up for the evening before going to get dinner and chores done, I had gotten all the way to row 75 (3600 beads) and there you could see her eyes basically complete and what looks like a hint of here nose showing. On Wednesday, 3/22, I began my day starting off at row 85 (4080 beads) with nose done and a hint of her smile☻. That day I managed to get to row 105 (5040 beads) before gettig dinner and getting ready for my regular BINGO night. There, her face was complete and was starting to work on the top part of her dress. Thursday, 3/23, I kicked my day off at row 120 (5760 beads) and can see more of her dress, some of her arms, and a little part of her pigtails with bows. When it was time for me to get my dinner ready that evening, I had gotten to row 140 (6720 beads) and there you could see the rest of her pigtails and bows in them and the rest of her arms. Friday the 24th, now that was a day that was giving me a problem…I couldn’t get my computer to scan or upload the images…I did bead but unfortunately, I was unable to post that day😔. During that day and with time over that weekend (3/25 & 3/26) I was able to finish her and get her matted into a frame as well as get final photos and up into my shop listings!! SO, let me show you some of those working photos and then go ahead and share with you all the listing of this Finished WIP and if you would like to make one for yourself, I even have the pattern available too😉!!

The next WIP I started on Monday, 3/27, was the sample of the Bracelet Kit for March-The Lady with Red 💋. I started off with the first 20 rows (320 beads) and mostly background with the shades of her hair beginning to show. At the end of that day I finished at row 50 (800 beads) and more of the hair showing. Tuesday, 3/28, I kicked off at row 60 (960 beads) and now you can see a little of an eyebrow and eye and more hair ☺. By the time it was time to get my dinner going, i finished at row 100 (1600 beads) and there, you could see all of her face, those beautiful red lips, and all that hair flowing around!! This bracelet is sure going quick!! Wednesday, 3/29, I picked right up at row 120 (1920 beads) and getting more of that beautiful hair just flowing down her neck. By the end of that day, before getting dinner and then getting ready for BINGO, I managed to finish up this beautiful, simple, but very elegant Lady with Red 💋 at row 160 (2560 beads)!! I was also able to finish getting all the findings on it and last photo shoot for it as well…meaning, I was able to list her in my shop for the following day!! Unfortunately for you all, at this time, she has already been sold, so the only way to get her is to make her with this Month’s kit…so hurry up before time runs out, to get yours, so you can make one😉!!
Before I go on to the Last WIP I worked on during these past 2 weeks, let me just remind you all that the time to get the March Kit of the Month is coming to an end!! There is only TODAY & TOMORROW the 3rd and the 4th!! Also, I will show you the available past kits I still have in my shop too ☺. This Month’s design features a simple but very elegant Lady with Red 💋 and is of course done in peyote stitch even count 2-drop. You will get everything needed to make this simple and elegant design (except the thread) which means: the printed word pattern, all the delica beads, needle, plated bar ends and findings!! Kits are sold month to month, and you can buy only the ones you WANT/NEED to buy. This kit for March is available only until 4/4/23 and will be mailed by 4/10/23. This particular pattern is only available to those who purchase March’s Kit and will not be available afterwards. Also, all delica colors in kits are subject upon availability.

Now, on to the last WIP that I worked on in the past two weeks…an abstract bracelet in 2-drop peyote even count. This one is going to be fun and colorful…I know I am not the best designer for when it comes to abstract…but I think I did a really great job with this particular design ☺. I started this on Thursday, 3/30 with just 20 rows (360 beads) and a whole lot of colors already 😉. At the end of that day, I managed to get to row 50 (900 beads) and there it was…the eye showing!! Friday, 3/31, I came back to my beading tray with 60 rows (1080 beads) and more color and more of the eye done. By the time it was time to get dinner and get stuff ready for RAM for the weekend, I had gotten to row 100 (1800 beads) with more color and shading of face and what appears to be the nose starting to show. This will be the WIP I pick back up on but will be done with soon. On to some K~Max Klub News & Updates 💕!! I have gotten the next potential bead a long ready and have shared the photo of pattern on the Klub page…if you have not seen it yet, don’t worry I will be showing it here too…let me know what you all think-it’s a little something to give or make for those awesome teachers out there 😉. I will be posting soon on our Klub page the Bead Counts & possible colors…this is a great pattern to use up all the small amounts of beads left in a color that you have!! Don’t forget any kits, patterns, or bead a longs you have finished, you can share them on our page to keep me inspired as well as your fellow beaders 💕. I love seeing how my patterns/designs can look so different when you use your own pallete coloring and it is very inspiring to me to keep designing and making creations!! Let’s go ahead and see what that pattern for the bead a long might be…and keep an eye out for the posting of the colors and bead counts!!
Alright, my fellow beaders’ and followers’, it is time to wrap it up for this blog post…so before I do a few reminders 😉. First, the March kit…TODAY & TOMORROW (4/3 & 4/4) are the last days to get it!! Second, a new bead a long to come for my K~Max Klub Members…so keep an eye out for that!! I am now going out to shows and festivals on most weekends and have a schedule to where I will be most weekends unless something comes up!! I will share that with you all in a minute…I hope to see some of you all out there if you are in my area or if you have come down to visit 😉. I might have some more news to share with you all soon…I am still thinking about some stuff and will hopefully have it figured out soon ☺.
