Hello & Happy Monday 💕!! How is everyone and how are things going for you all?!?! I am excited to be getting back in the swing for my spring shows and beading to my heart’s content as well as trying to spend time with my loved ones whenever I can 😉! I was not able to post a blog this past week so I will be combining the past two weeks together-it will be kind of a long one with a few WIP’s that I have worked on and have finished most, whatever I haven’t finished quite yet will sure be done this week ☺. Then I have some new listings to show you and some of them even have available patterns for those of you who like to make your own!! Then there is also the kit for February that still is available for a bit longer and of course a small stock left of past kits too. I even have a little update/news in my K~Max Klub too…let’s get those beads moving, shall we?!?!
When I came back to my bead tray the week of 2/13, I was working on the Kawaii-style Princess Tiana 5×7 Art. I started that day off with 75 rows (3450 beads). There I had half of her face completed. By the end of that day, I had stopped at row 95 (4370 beads) with her whole face almost completed except for her chin. Then on 2/14, I started my day off with row 110 (5060 beads) and her chin, neck, a gloved hand, and the top part of her dress done. At the end of that day, I had stopped at row 130 (5980 beads) and at that time, the whole top part of her dress was done and both gloved hands too!! On 2/15, I started my day off at row 140 (6440 beads) and more of the dress was starting to show. By the end of that workday, I had up to row 160 (7360 beads) and it was time for my regular BINGO night!! That Thursday (2/16), I started my day off at row 175 (8050 beads) and more of her ballgown was completed…but there was still a bit more to go…my prediction had been that I would finish it that day and guess what?!?!? I DID!!! Finished her with 198 rows (9108 beads). Later that night I even got to matt her and frame her as well as get the final photos for her listing in my shop!! So let me show you all some of the working photos that I had put up and then I will show you all the listing I put up of her in my shop too and even show you all the pattern that is available for those who’d like to try their hand at making their own Princess Tiana!!

On 2/17, I started my next WIP ☻!! I kicked the day off with row 20 (360 beads) and it was mostly background color with a hint of another color showing. By the end of that day (Friday) I had finished all the way up to row 60 (1080 beads) and had quite a bit showing already and was almost going to get to the eyes. I was not able to do much over that weekend but when I came back to my bead tray on 2/20, I started off at row 80 (1440 beads) and had quite a bit done on his eyes!! At the end of that day, I had stopped at row 120 (2160 beads) and Hei-Hei’s face, neck and top of body and few feathers were showing. On 2/21, I kicked my day off at row 150 (2700 beads) after working on several sets the night before 😉. At that point, he was almost done…just had to finish off his feet!! By the end of that day, I was able to finish him completely…with him standing on the water 😂…at row 170 (3020 beads). This WIP was a very fun and quick bracelet to make…in 2-drop peyote style and yes!! The bracelet is now up as a new listing in my shop as well as for those who would like to try their hand at making their own Hei-Hei kawaii style bracelet, I have the pattern available in my shop as well ☺!! Let me show you those working photos, then I will show you the listing of the bracelet as well as the pattern too!!

Since I was able to finish Hei-Hei up kind of early on 2/21, I was also able to start the next WIP… the first 10 rows (160 beads) and then had to stop at row 20 (320 beads) to go and get dinner…I think that at that point, it was obvious that it was the sample for the February Kit of the month of the Fairy in the Mist. On 2/22, I was not able to bead and post anything-had to take the day (don’t worry, everything was fine, but had to take a day off ☺), so I kicked the next day (2/23) off at row 30 (480 beads) and you could see about 6 colors already!! By the end of that day, I finished up at row 70 (1120 beads) and could now see the fairy’s head and tip pf wings and kind of looks like she could be sitting under a willow tree. Then this past Friday (2/24) I started my day off at row 80 (1,280 beads) with the start of her body and letting something go from her hands ☺. Since I had to get a few things done to get ready to return to going back to doing my shows/markets, I only got to get to row 120 (1920 beads) for that day and there you could see the fairy and wings complete and that she is sitting on what looks like a branch from a willow tree. Fairy in the Mist Bead Woven Bracelet February 2023 KIT ONLY
The February Peyote of the month kit is now up and listed!! This one is called Fairy in the Mist and is a lovely and fun 2-drop even count peyote pattern that will include everything that you will need to make the bracelet except the thread. You will receive: the pattern printed in word form, all Delica beads needed, plated bar ends and findings, plus a needle!! If you are new to bead weaving and don’t know how…I have videos available to help you learn how!! This pattern is only available for the month of February and is now available until March 3, 2023, and would mail out by March 10, 2023. The great thing about these kits, you only need to buy the ones you want/need and if you don’t want one for a specific month-that’s ok 😉. The Delica colors are subject to change of availability.
The last listing, I have to show you for this week is the available past kits that I still have in stock ☺. I believe some of these kits might have sold already and no longer be available, but there are still quite a few different options available… you can check to see which ones by clicking the links under the photo collages 😉.
Last but not least, some news and updates from my K~Max Klub Group!! For Valentine’s Day, I decided to put up a pattern for everyone to enjoy…not just my Klub members but for all-that means it is free for everyone and can be shared ♥!! It is a little Heart ACEO 2.5×3.5 pattern and is a quick and fun project that will keep giving love and friendship. Then also in the past two weeks, Jessica has posted a working photo of an August kit she got from me a few years ago of a cave view looking out at the ocean/beach. Not only is she doing the one, but she had gotten 2 of the same of that kit and is doing both at the same time!! They’re looking great so far and can’t wait to see the update of how they look when she is done!! One more thing that I talked about here in the Klub-this month’s kitchen…not sure if everyone is seeing it or not, but I really need for it to be seen and for more of them to sell to make it really worth the time to keep making and selling the kits ☺. So please, please…if you can talk it up or post and share the link with friends who you think would be interested, that would be a great help to me. Alright everyone!! That will round up everything that has gone on in the past two weeks from 2/13-2/26.
