Hello and Happy Day to you all 💕!! It’s been a while since last post…another two weeks have gone by and in that time have been doing shows/festivals, working on patterns and beading to my heart’s content. If you missed the last Blog Post, then you might not have seen that I have decided to put a hold on designing/making Kits of the Month for a bit…I am hoping maybe mid-summer to maybe fall to start back up, I love making them and all but sometimes I have to put a hold on doing them when there is not enough interest or people getting them…in the meanwhile, I do have some available past kits available if someone is looking for a ready-made kit to do and some of them are even discounted😉. There is also the section in my shop for just patterns as well if you are looking for your next project☺. There have been a few WIP’s since the last time I posted a blog as well as new listings and then some news/updates posted in the K~Max Klub group from a member who has finished a few kits/patterns from my shop 💕…Let’s go ahead and look back at what was going on May1-May14 😉.
Let’s go all the way back to May 1st…that is when I started a new WIP-the sample of the April Kit of the Month of the Yellow Spring Bird. I started off with the first 10 rows (180 beads) and all background color. At the end of that day ended up stopping at row 50 (900 beads) and there you could see the flowers and branches that the yellow bird will be sitting upon eventually ☺. On Tuesday, May 2nd, I kicked my day off at row 70 (1260 beads) after doing some extra rows the night before and at that point you could see the branches and flowers growing out more. By the time I had to wrap up to go off and get dinner done, I had up to row 110 (1980 beads) done with a lot more flowers showing up on the branches. Wednesday, May 3rd, I kicked off on row 150 (2700 beads)…I was not able to sleep the night before and ended up doing quite a few sets of rows 😉!! At that point, the Yellow Spring bird was almost done…just had a few more rows to finish bird and then fill in the rest of the background to make the length of the bracelet long enough!! By the end of that day when it was time to wrap up and get dinner and get ready for my BINGO night, I had finished the bracelet at row 190 (3340 beads)…only needed to finish the findings and get final photos for listing ☺. Let’s look back at some of those working photos and then I will also show you the listing of it in my shop. The sample made bracelet is now in my shop and ready to make that outfit unique and fun!!
Yellow Bird Bead Woven Bracelet – April 2023 KIT
On Thursday, May 4th, I came back to my bead tray with a new WIP…another bracelet…2-drop peyote and 3 colors only ☺. I started off with the first 10 rows (180 beads) which were all background color with a hint of the second color for the dolphin beginning to show. At the end of that day, I had 50 rows (900 beads) completed and the first dolphin almost completely done and there you could see the 3rd color (the eye). The following day I ended up taking the day off to get ready for a festival (Isles of Eight Flags Shrimp) that weekend. So I came back on May 8th starting the day out with row 70 (1260 beads) and there you could see that the first dolphin was done and the beginning of the tail of the 2nd one was starting to show. At the end of that day, I managed to get to row 110 (1980 beads) and more of the tail of the 2nd dolphin. The next day, I had to take the day off but still managed to end up finishing the bracelet. Unfortunately I did not get final pics and list it, because it was SOLD before I could even finish getting final photos to list it…my favorite thing to happen 😉, but I can show you some of those working photos that I managed to post! This may be a pattern that will eventually be put up in my shop in the pattern section…so make sure you keep an eye out for that if you like this pattern!!
Before moving on the the last WIP I did during this 2 week period, let us take a quick break and look at some of the other listings…there was the listing of the Unique Flower bracelet and then of course the listings of all the past available kits. The modern Split Flower Beadwoven bracelt is a beautiful flower bracelet that has a 2-toned background and a main big flower with many flower shoots of it’s stem. It is the type of bracelet to wear with almost any outfit at anytime of year but especially fun and perfect for those spring/summer outfits. Now, let’s continue with the next WIP…started on May 10th…something with some bright fun colors!! I started with the first 10 rows (180 beads) and there you could see 3 colors already!! Before having to get dinner going and get ready for my BINGO night, I ended up getting to row 50 (900 beads) and could see the start of it…those are ‘sparkly’ pearls!! On May 11th, I began my day at row 60 (1080 beads) with more pearls and something else beginning to show. At the end of that day, I managed to get to row 100 (1800 beads) and there you could see a flower showing up in the middles of the ‘sparkly’ pearl ropes. Friday, May 12th, I began my day at row 120 (2160 beads) with the flower in the middle almost complete. I ended completing my Friday at row 150 (2700 beads) with more of the ‘sparkly’ pearl rope on the other side of the flower. Time for some updates/news in my K~Max Klub Group 💕!! In the past two weeks, a member, Jessica, has posted an update each week of some the kits/patterns that she did of mine. She finished working on the January ’23 Kit and also the March ’23 Kit as well as a 5×7 Pattern of a Kawaii-style Moana & Pua!! She did a really great job on all of them!! Have any of you finished or started a kit/pattern from me?!?! Come on over and show us what you got done or finished if so…and don’t forget there are past bead a long patterns available to the Klub members on our page through the file tab…have fun with those and show us your creativity-Inspire us all 💕!! Have I ever shown you what my bead tray/table looks like clean?!?! Well I finally had it cleaned up and decided to take a picture of it before setting up for a new project, just so I could show you all…how do you all bead?!?!
