Hello and Happy 😊 Friday ☀!! How has everyone been these past two weeks?!?! I must say it has been a busy, fun and productive time for me 😉. As most of you know, I have been going to shows/festival on the weekends…most of them are at the RAM (Riverside Art Market) and I have to say it was a great time this past Saturday!! I got to see all my regular customers as well as new ones and the weather and people were great!! I had a really great time and a successful weekend for sure 😊!! These past two week since I last posted, I have worked on and finished 2 WIP’s and have even begun a new one as of this Thursday. I also have been in that creative jibe and created a lot of new bracelet and Art patterns that have been recently listed in my shop-too many to list individually, but I plan on showing you in two part (a collage of the bracelet patterns and then another for the art patterns) and I will have the links under to my shop for a closer look at them 😉. As for new listings (besides the patterns) I have at least one bracelet that was also put up because the sample for this month’s kit as well as Wall-e & Eva have already been sold before I could list them 😁!! I also have some news to share with you from my Klub…so much to go over and show you, let’s get the beads rolling!!
About two weeks ago (Friday 3/18), I left you all while I was working on the Blue Gingham Checkered Bracelet WIP. It was almost done-only having a few more rows to add and get the finding put on it as well as get final photos to list it. Well over that weekend I was able to get it done and list it the previous week from this one. If you don’t remember seeing me work on it here is the picture of where I left off on it and it was such an easy design to do using only three colors that it was done with no pattern at all!! Since I have finished this one and it was a new listing for this week…I am going to show you the listing here instead of showing it later☺! It is a fun and lovely pattern that can be worn all year around to bring a fun and flirty edge to any outfit…check it out here 😉
The next WIP I started was on last Monday 3/21 of the bead along that is currently going on in my K~Max Klub group of the flowers spring bracelet. That was the main project from last week and is what I worked on until I finished it last Thursday 3/24. If you are a Klub member, then this pattern was posted on our group page…you can find it by rows of 50 or recently I have put the whole pdf pattern in our file tab on the page. When I started it on that Monday, I had 10 rows done and by the end of that day, I had 50 rows with 1,000 beads…one whole flower was done. Then on last Tuesday I kicked off my day with 60 rows and 1,200 beads…a new flower was starting to show. Later that day I wrapped up on row 100 with 2,000 beads…there was a peach flower complete and the beginning of a purple flower coming through. On Wednesday 3/23, I continued with 110 rows and there were 3 flowers complete with a start of another flower coming through. That day, I finished up at row 150 with 3,000 beads and 4 flowers complete and a new one starting. By Thursday (3/24) morning, I was already at row 160 with3,200 beads-working on the 5th! At the end of that day, I had it finished with 190 rows and almost 4,000 beads!!! Now, since this is a bead-along with my group, there are going to be many variations probably for the outcome of the flowers…I have suggested colors, but I totally worked this pattern with what I had available in my own stash without buying any new colors ☺! I cannot wait to see what my members come up with and share with us later!! For now, I will show you some of my working photos as well as the New Listing for this too 😉!!
Let’s take a little break and talk about the Peyote Bracelet Kit of the Month, before moving on to the next WIP- (which will be the sample of this kit 😉)! For the Month of March, we have the 3 beautiful and bold Flower Bracelet. This design is of 2 drop peyote and each kit will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Original’s designed bracelet: A printed word chart in 2 drop peyote (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, ALL Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from March 9, 2022, until April 7, 2022, and then kits will be mailed on or by April 15, 2022. A little FYI about the kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with these kits!! After April 9th this pattern/kit will no longer be available!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Can anyone guess what is next?!?! Did you guess the WIP of the 3 Flower sample for the March Kit?!?! Yep!! This WIP I got started last Friday (3/25). I started my day off with the first 10 rows (180 beads) with the first color of the background and some flower petals. As I worked through the rest of the day pulling my rows and then weaving them until I had to pack up and get ready for RAM, I found myself finishing up at row 50 (900 beads) and the first flower out of the 3 almost done! By the time the weekend passed, and I got back to my bead tray this past Monday (3/28), I was already beginning at row 80 (1,440 beads) with a change of background color and a new flower starting 😁. At the end of that workday, I ended up having 120 rows (2,160 beads) and the 2nd flower almost complete! Then Tuesday morning I was right back to my tray, excited to get started on the 3rd and final flower with 130 rows (2,340 beads) with a new background color change! This bracelet pattern is just flowing so quickly, and the colors are just so fun and bright-something cheerful for spring ☺. That evening I ended up stopping at row 170 (3,060 beads) which was a little over halfway of the 3rd 🌸. Wednesday began with 180 rows (3,240 beads) and not much more to go…was the day I finished it completely with 190 rows (3,420 beads)!! Before I could even finish getting the finding put on and get the final photos for a listing…this was already SOLD!!! Good thing this is available for the kit this month and you can get one and make one for yourself or a friend 😉! Let’s take a look back at some of the working photos!!
Next up, I have a New Listing for you…well many of them, but since it is a lot, I made it easier to see by making it into two different collages and I will include the link under them for you to check them out 😉! I have been super busy at work creating and designing new patterns for bracelets and tapestries with quite a bit of them “Kawaii Style”. These are fun and most of them, if not all, are 2 drop peyote. Each pattern can be found in my shop, and you can get more information for each individual pattern by clicking on them individually. I have split up the preview of these listing by either bracelets or tapestries…let’s take a look, shall we?!?!
Before I move on to the last WIP for these past two weeks, let’s take a look at some of the past available kits that I still have in stock🙂 There are not many kits left, but what there is leftover are discounted with limited quantities in stock. Most of the bracelet kits have only one left in stock with maybe one design having 2. All the Art kits except 2 of them, have two in stock for each design. I have put together a new collage of what I have left for you all to see. These will be offered until there are no more in stock and once, they are completely gone, these designs will no longer be available 🙂 so come and grab these while they are still here!! Are you all ready to talk about the New WIP I am currently working on?!?! So far no one has guessed this one…it is going to be a 5×7 Art and it is from a Disney short film that is a favorite of mine and designed in the popular “Kawaii Style” format that I just love to work with 😉. I managed to start this one Wednesday after finishing the 3 Flower Bracelet Kits Sample. I started off with the first 5 rows with 240 beads. At this point there was not much to see…only background with a hint of something there in the middle of the background. As there are many beads to pull for each row when working with a 5×7, I like to get 5 rows at a time ready before I weave them all together…I do this throughout the day until my workday ends and if I am lucky, sometimes I even have more time to work on it before settling down for bed🙂. At the end of that day, I was able to finish 15 rows (720 beads) and still background with a hint of something there in the middle of the design. Thursday, when I picked up from the night before, I started out with some more rows already done- 25rows (1,200 beads) and now there is something more finally starting to show 😉. I beaded throughout the day and ended up finishing my Thursday with 45 rows (2,160 beads) and what looks to be an eyeball showing…🤔 what could it be…still no guesses at this time! Now, we come to today!! Yep!! Can you believe it is already April?!?! Today I start my day off with 60 rows (2,880 beads) and now you can see that it is a bird hanging upside down!! There will be much more still to come…let’s see how far I can get today!! Last but not least, we have some updates from my K~Max Klub group. WOW!! That was quite a lot for the past two weeks-right?!?! Remember, if you are interested in the March Kit, you have until April 9th to get it!! I will be planning and designing the next kit for April soon and will be continuing to work on the 5×7 bird Art I am currently working on. I will be trying to work on that this weekend as well as probably going to the RAM this weekend too.
