I am back!! If you haven’t heard on 10/7 I had bi-lateral knee replacement, in other words both knees were fully replaced!! What a life changing event for me. I am already up and walking – with canes – and getting more mobile every day. But for me, the most amazing thing is how straight my legs now are. I was born with severe club feet and most of my life has been spent with knee, ankle, hip and back pain. Over the past 10 years or so things have gotten worse because of my weight gain. I had lost a bunch of weight over the last year, however an injury while doing my exercises. Then another injury. That was the beginning of the end. After that things went quickly downhill. In the end it was decided that neither knee was strong enough to support the other during rehab, so we did both. I am happy about my new knees and because they have been straightened so much I have actually gained a couple of inches in height.

And now on to ‘BEADING’ news!! Did you see it? I have a studio on Amazon Handmade now too!! For the moment the creations are listed in both places, however, I plan on creating some EXCLUSIVE designs just for that studio!
And I had finished the RED Glass creation the morning I left for the hospital, but I wasn’t able to get it listed until this morning. So, here it is!! What do you think?
