Hello & Happy Monday 💕!! It’s been a bit since I last posted a blog post-life kind of got in the way of being able to put one up the previous week, so I will be doing a review of the past two weeks in case anyone has missed anything 😉. Another thing that has been a bit of a bother, is sometimes my computer not posting my updates so there are a few days here and there that are missing, but I did bead and end up finishing WIP’s ☺. This blog will be reviewing from Jan 9th to Jan 22nd … quite a bit to run through, so let’s go ahead and get started!!
The first thing I’d like to review is the WIP’s that I worked on the week of 1/9 – 1/15. There was the Toothless Dragon 2-drop peyote Bracelet that I worked on that week as well as the bead a long pattern that I did with my K~Max Klub-another 2-drop peyote pattern of a Sunset with Dandelion…if you are not a member and are interested in this pattern, it is available in my shop in the pattern section😉. They were both fun and pretty quick projects and I managed to finish one of them that week and about half of the 2nd bracelet too. Let’s go ahead and look at some of those working photos for each WIP up until 1/15.
Before coming to this past week’s WIP’s, lets take a look at a listing from the week of 1/9 -1/15 ☺. This listing is a 2-drop peyote bracelet that is a kawaii- style design of Toothless from How to Train your Dragon. It was a quick and fun pattern to make with very few colors. This would be one of those bracelets that would be unique and fun to show off with various style of outfits as well as one that could be worn anytime of the year just because and for fun 😉!! Let’s do one more listing before I move on to the other WIP’s that I worked on this previous past week 😉. This one is of the Kit of the month-I would like to show you all the New Monthly Peyote Bracelet Kit for January 💕!!! This wonderful pattern is called ‘Sunset Lady in the Rain’ and is in Even Count Peyote as well as 2-drop. With this Kit, you will receive a printed word pattern, all Delica Beads needed for the pattern, Plated bar ends & findings plus a Needle!! Each kit is only available for that month it is listed, and you only BUY the month you want/need. January’s kit will be available from 1/8/23 until 2/2/23. The kits will be mailed out by 2/10/23. This pattern is only available to those who purchase the monthly kit and will not be offered separately. Also, Delica colors in the kits are subject to availability.
Now, let’s get back to the WIP’s that I ended up working on, finishing and starting this past previous week (1/16-1/22). I began the week off working on more of the bead a long pattern that I did for my K~Max Klub group- the Sunset and Dandelion pattern. It didn’t take long for me to finish it up and I even got to start a new WIP of the sample of the January kit of the month called Sunset Lady in the Rain bracelet. I had some computer issues again during that week and some of my posts were missing on the last of the working photos of the Sunset Lady in Rain, but I will show you some of those working photos of those two WIP’s- of which I finished both-before I later show you the last WIP I started at the end of the week ☺.
Time to show you the other listings that were put up in my shop for this past week as well as show you the listings of the last of the available past kits I have. The first listing I have for this past week is of the Sunset with Dandelion 2-drop peyote bracelet that was the bead a long I did with my K~Max Klub (if not a member, and interested in this pattern it is available in my shop 😉) and then the second listing is of the sample for this month’s kit- the Sunset Lady in Rain 2-drop peyote bracelet!! Both are really beautiful patterns that are unique and would give most any outfit that certain flare and be worn at any time of the year☺. Before I get to the news & updates from my K~Max Klub, let’s talk about the very last WIP I started at the end of last week on Friday 1/21. I started out actually the night before but showed what I had that Friday morning 😉. I started off with the first 15 rows (720 beads) with just 2 colors so far on the 5×7 Art and so far, it is too soon to tell what it might be 😉. I didn’t get a huge amount done that day, but I did get about 15 more rows on before having to get back to ‘life’ activities ☺. I ended at row 30 (1140 beads) and still using only 2 colors. Finally, let’s talk about the K~Max Klub 💕!! We recently have started a new bead a long for our members and as of last week, all parts of the pattern are now up in our file tab for the Sunset with Dandelion ☺. We also have a few members who have been posting about some of their work that they are doing on some of my past kits that they had in their beading stock…Karen who was working on the ‘Grace’ kit and Jessica, who was working on the Searching the Stars kit. SO far, they are doing a wonderful job and I will be sharing their posts with you, but before I do, let me ask you all a question!! What else would you like to see or do in our Klub?!?! I want to have our klub be more active and not just be posting about the bead a longs which I love to do with you all, but I know not everyone has the same schedules or can do them at the same time. Any input from you all would be great-I want to make our Klub more active and fun for all of you ☺. Remember also, you all can post updates on your WIP’s from the bead a longs, kits, patterns from me here and I will try to catch them and share and post them here in my blog 😉! Whew!! That was quite a bit to get through ☺. I will be continuing to work on the 5×7 Art this week and even may start another WIP-we’ll have to see how the days go 😉!! Don’t forget to get a kit for January of the Sunset Lady in Rain-there’s about a week or so left to grab it up before I will be ending it and be planning out the next kit for February!!
