Good morning ☀️ and happy Friday!! I hope that everyone’s week has been a great week!! Remember, the best thing that you or anyone can do is be creative to keep that mind and body active. For me, it has been another productive and creative week…I have a new listing to show you all as well as a few projects(WIP’s) I have been working on!! One of this projects was actually another beadalong I did this week with my K~Max Klub!! Which reminds me…there are a few more members done with their bead along from the previous bead along-I’ll be showing off some of their work today too! The other item on my list to show you guys is the new patterns for May’s beading Kits. Well, let’s get this Friday started shall we?!?!
Let’s begin with some of the projects(WIP’s) I have been working on this week. The first project I started off with is actually a bead-a-long that I did with my K~Max Klub😉. I started this project on Monday and been working all week on it-the way I did it with the group was by doing rows of 50 every day up until yesterday! Then I zipped up the sides together and made it into a coin purse. Today I made the video for the Klub members to do their last step too and make theirs into coin purses. This was a fun and cute project to do and I’ll have final pictures of mine up hopefully by Monday and as a new listing😉. As the members get done with theirs, I’ll make sure to show them off too!! For now, here’s some working photos of mine!
Now, I know it has only been a day, but I did manage to start another project yesterday! I decided to do the sample for May’s Peyote Bracelet in a box kit. Yesterday I was able to get up to row 20 with 360 beads in already…but since this morning I have already added to that…So now today I will start off on row 30 with 540 beads…Just look at those bright colors so far and the rainbow effect on those white beads!! Now, how about I show you all the new listing for this week?!?! It is the ‘Teal and Green Hummingbird’ Beadwoven Necklace. This set all started with a beautiful hand crafted and painted hummingbird that I got from the talented crew at Wildlife Plastics! I used teals and greens in 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads, which means roughly about 11 beads per inch or 15 per inch😃, to build up the bezel and encase the lovely hummingbird. I did this set using peyote stitch and a herringbone stitch and without the use of any glue! This set is light weight and can be worn at any time of the year…with almost all kinds of outfits! It would make a great gift for anyone who is a lover of hummingbirds!!
It’s time to introduce you all to the New Patterns/Kits for May!! I just can’t believe how wonderfully these turned out😃. Are you all ready for some bright and vibrant colors?!?! I have to say…these are just wow!! I will be doing a Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit with a new pattern( in single drop peyote) for May and I have decided to do another 4×4 Art in a Bag Kit for May!! This month’s 4×4 Art pattern is a pattern in 2 drop peyote!! Let me go ahead and tell you a little bit more about each individual kit with the important dates for availability 😃.
Let’s start with the Peyote in a Box Kit!! For May’s Kit, I decided to go with a pattern that is bright, bold, & fun!! A Bright Butterfly…With this kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart In single drop peyote (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from April 29, 2020 until May 28, 2020 and then Kits will be mailed on or by June 5, 2020. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Next, let’s talk about the Art in a Bag Kit for May!! I decided to do another 4×4 pattern this month!! The New pattern I have chosen for this kit this month is of Bright, Bold, Beautiful Hibiscus Flowers!!😃. This Kit is a Monthly Bag kit from Krafty Max Originals and each Bag kit will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed 4×4 wall art which will contain the following: Printed word chart pattern(in 2 drop peyote), All Delica beads and a 4×4 canvas to mount your finished Beadwoven Art work on. I have one last thing today to share with you all!! Most of you know or have heard about my private group-the K~Max Klub! About 2 weeks ago we started a bead-a-long on a silhouette bracelet…last week I started showing you all some of their finished or almost finished works. I have a few more to show you this week too! As the members finish and post their works of art from the bead-a-longs from this one or from the butterfly/heart coin purse, I will be sharing with all of you…hoping to inspire and help others get the creative bug too😉.
