Good Morning & Happy Friday!!!! I have been super busy lately with a lot of festivals and shows-meeting new people in really great weather and having fun selling my creations😃. How have all of you been doing-staying busy?!?! Today’s blog will be big!!-a mix of info from last week’s WIP’s, listings, Klub news, and available kits with this weeks since I was not able to post a blog last week😊! So, let’s go and get started!!
Last week, I had 2 WIP’s, of which I ended up finish both by that Friday!! The first WIP was actually carried over from the previous week from last week into Monday and Tuesday of this week😁. It was the big and bold, beautiful green/gold dragon pendant necklace. That Monday I got to start off on the front finishing off the bezeling and adding the fringe and even starting the herringbone rope. That Tuesday’s I came back and finished of the rope and added the hanger and got everything done, except adding the findings and taking final pictures for a listing. Later on that same Tuesday I even got to start the first 10 rows (180 beads) of the next WIP of that week which ended up being none other then the sample for the October Peyote bracelet in a box kit!! Last Wednesday I started out with 20 rows (360 beads). The beginning work was mostly background color but had a scrolled look into it! There was even a hint of color popping through at that time too! Later that evening, I had reached row 60 (1,080 beads) and the petals of the flower were starting to bloom😉. That Thursday morning had me at row 70 (1,260 beads) with a lot of shades/hues of blues, purples, pinks, and even some reds!!! That evening, I reached row 110 (1,980 beads)- a lot more colors showing now!! Just lovely and beautiful colors!!! That Friday came around and I began at row 120 (2,160 beads)-bright colors brightening my smile even more that day!! Can you believe it?!?!-I finished the whole bracelet that day!!! For those of you who might not have been following along or missed what I was working on last week-here are some of the working photos-later on I’ll have the flower bracelet listing and the dragon one probably next week😉
Now, let’s get to the WIP’s I worked/working on this week 😃. Both of them are necklaces, but let’s start out with the one I started on Monday! I had a wonderful ‘fall’ colored stone cab that I just love-I bezeled it using peyote with Delica 11/0 seed beads and then regular 11/0 & 15/0 seed beads in shades of reds, grays and other hues in between. I started by building the walls up and then tightening around the back first-a habit I always do no matter what I do😁. Tuesday I spent working o tightening the front and getting the fringe added-just live those fall colors in this cab!! I think the fringe turned out great-then still had time to start the strap (rope) of the necklace…a simple twisting herringbone strap. I ended up coming back on Wednesday to finish of the strap and the hanger-completing everything except adding the findings and doing the final pictures for a listing. Now, on Thursday when I went to start my other new WIP this week, the program I used to post didn’t post the right things ( I do work a little a head and have this program post the pics for me😊) and so we move on to today and having the right pictures of the WIP I chose to do next. I started out by just showing you all the beautiful stone cab in grays/blues and tans…lets see how far I can get on bezeling it today!! I’ll be showing you some of the working photos and be on the look out for the listing 😉. Time to introduce you all to some news listings I had for this week!! Both listings were for peyote bracelets that I had finished recently-the sample bracelet for the October Peyote Bracelet in a box kit and then the Kawaii style ‘Disgust’ bracelet. They are both pretty awesome and wonderful bracelets that each represent a unique style for the wearer and would make wonderful gifts for that someone special or even a gift for yourself😉. Let’s take a look at each one!!
Recently, I decided to go through my shop and see what is left of the ‘Available Past Kits’! Now, remember, that there are very limited quantities left of them and that they have been discounted from my original kit prices!! What is left of them can be seen in a collage below and most of them have at least 1kit left to maybe 2 at the most!! Once these are gone, that’s it and they willl not be seen again!! So take a look and hurry and grab those that you like while you still can before being completely gone!!
NEW THIS MONTH!!! I have brought back my Monthly Peyote Bracelet Kits!!! For October, I bring to you this bright and fun ‘Flower’ peyote bracelet pattern. This pattern is Even count and it is 2 drop peyote stitch!! With each kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available October 6, 2021 until November 5, 2021 and then Kits will be mailed on or by November 15, 2021. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to changes.
Now, it’s time to move on to K~Max Klub News/Updates😃. I have finally had the time to sit down and work on a design for a bead-along for my Klub members!! I asked earlier this week if you’d all lie a winter/Christmas themed bracelet and had a great response to it! I put up the picture of the design on the Klub page and will be working on it hopefully next week and put up the colors and counts of the beads you’ll need for it😉. Other then that, I don’t have any other news or updates-be on the look out for more posts for the bead-along😁!!
