Hello & Happy Friday ☀️!! What a week it has been!! Last weekend my show on Saturday got cancelled so I stayed home and beaded all day but on Sunday, there were a lot of people at the show, great weather and had some great sales!! It was awesome-but short!! Yep since Thursday was Veterans Day I decided not to be on the computer and as well for today too! Just a quick blog post 😊. So I’ll be showing you what I have up til Wednesday for this week-2 WIP’s, 2 new listings, then some news/updates from my K~Max Klub😃. As for the Peyote Bracelet in a Box kit of the month, I have decided to hold back the next kit until the new year-so be on the look out for the next new monthly kit in January 😉!! The good news is…I still have a few past available kits left in my shop!! Time to get the beads rolling!!
Let’s start off with the WIP I started towards the end if last week…the flower tree WIP😃. By last Friday, I had the backside all finished and was about to turn it around and continue the front side-closing it and tightening up…but I ended up doing that part beginning Monday morning. I ended up adding a row of pink seed beads then one last row in a very light blue color to try to match up and make the colors from the flowers in the tree pop! After finishing up the pendant part I began working on the strap. I took colors I used from the pendant and put them in a simple herringbone strap and from there it was just trying to get the strap to a certain length😃. By the end of Monday, I had managed almost half of the strap so Tuesday I came back and worked on getting that length added to it for it to be long enough, then when I finished that I put the hanger on it. Only thing left was to get the findings on it and get the final photos for a news listing!! For now, I show you some of the other working photos and later on the listing😉!
Let’s go to the Née Listings I have for this week 😃. The first one is the beautiful Amethyst stone I finished last week-I call it ‘Amethyst with Crystal’ Beadwoven Wearable Art Necklace. Then I have the fun, bright and beautiful flower tree pendant one-I call this one ‘Flower Tree with Pink and Yellow’ Beadwoven Wearable Art Necklace. Each necklace presents itself with a uniqueness and a beauty that would bring color and joy to any outfit the wearer would pair it with. They both can be worn at any time of the year and are light weight! The herringbone straps are soft and won’t catch in the hair!! They would make great gifts for that someone special or even for a special gift just because for oneself😉. Come and check them out!!
Next, let’s move on to my new & current WIP 😃. This one was started on Wednesday. I have been wanting to do this one now for quite a bit and it is going to be bright & fun!! I started out with 5 rows and 230 beads😁…it was mostly background color but there was also a hint of something already beginning to show!! While working on it during the day, someone was able to guess what it was-a fox! Yep!! A fox but not just any fox, but a red 🦊. I finished out my day and week with 25 rows done and 1,150 beads…with both ears of the fox basically done. I took the rest of the week off of the computer for Veterans Day and of course today(Friday). Even though I am not doing a New Peyote Bracelet in a Box kit for this month ( It will resume again with a new pattern in January) I still do have some past kits available in my shop😃. Recently, I decided to go through my shop and see what is left of the ‘Available Past Kits’! Now, remember, that there are very limited quantities left of them and that they have been discounted from my original kit prices!! What is left of them can be seen in a collage below and most of them have at least 1kit left to maybe 2 at the most!! Once these are gone, that’s it and they willl not be seen again!! So take a look and hurry and grab those that you like while you still can before being completely gone!!
Now, last but not least, I have some news and updates from my K~Max Klub😃!! I have posted the full bead-along pdf on our Klub page and can also be found in the ‘Files’ tab as well. If you are a new member-you can go here and find any past bead-alongs and try creating one-just ask that everyone PLEASE share your creation with us…WE really want to see what everyone is creating!! When we share our work with one another we inspire one another to keep creating and enjoying ourselves. This week we have Jessica who has shared that she is doing the bead-along multiple times to do as teacher gifts for her children in the upcoming holidays and she has shared one if her colorways with us this week for the first 50 rows😃. Thanks for sharing Jessica and love this color way you are working on!! I hope to see all of your soon too!! Here is her post if you missed it!!
