Hello & Happy Friday ☀️!!! It’s been awhile since I had a normal blog post!😊. Today, I’ll be doing a review of all the WIP’s, New listings, Klub News & Available Kits that has happened since my last normal blog😉. I have been still doing the Art shows on the weekends and that has been keeping me busy as well as getting ready for the holidays😁. Good news is that I have already gotten all the gifts on my list except one, so that means I get to bead away at my beading tray!!😍. Let’s get started!!
First, I want to go back to review the WIP of the Red Fox 5×7 Art. The last time I blogged about it, I had left you all on row 25 with 1,150 beads and someone had finally just guessed what it was going to be😃. It’s not obvious yet…but there will be a total of 15 colors in this art including the background color! When I had come back to work on this( the previous week before Thanksgiving), I had started out on row 50 with 2,300 beads and an eye peeking out. That whole week I worked on this cute guy and finished him @row 90 with 8,740 beads. In case anyone missed some of these working photos, I have put together a little collage of some of them so you could see😃. Later on, I’ll show you the final look with it framed and listed😉!!
The next WIP I worked on was a reddish/brown Jasper stone, the week of Thanksgiving. I started off with building up the walls with a wonderful warm and rich reddish/brown Delica in 11/0 size beads. Then as the wall built up, I started closing and tightening up the backside first with 15/0 seed beads and regular size 11/0 dead beads in warm mauve color and in a golden yellow color. I even made sure I added my beads to go back around to do the hanger later on before I moved to the front of the stone😁. After all of that was done, I moved around the front to enclose and tighten the Fran around that side of the stone-again using more of the other 15/0 and 11/0 regular seed beads until the last row when I put one row of Delica 11/0 to enhance the design of the frame I going for, for the front of the stone😉. That being done-it was time to move on to working on the simple twist herringbone strap!! Since it was Thanksgiving week- I did t end up finishing it that week rather on this past Monday(Cyber Monday)! In a moment we will take a look back at some of those working photos as well as the final working picture-this one was SOLD even before I could get the final pictures and list it😍😉!!! It was a small and simple stone to bead around yet so elegant that it sold immediately 😍😍
Now before moving on to the current WIP, let’s take a look at a few of the New Listings since I last posted😃. The first listing is of the Red Fox 5×7 Art😃. He is matted and framed and ready to go to his new forever home!! He’s cute and bright and sure to brighten anyone’s day up!! The next new listing is actually just the 5×7 Pattern for the Red Fox Art. Either way-you can’t go wrong-the one that is already made or the one you get the pattern for and make yourself…you’ll end up with the cutest Red fox to hang up or display!! Even though I am not doing a New Peyote Bracelet in a Box kit for this month ( It will resume again with a new pattern in January) I still do have some past kits available in my shop😃. Recently, I decided to go through my shop and see what is left of the ‘Available Past Kits’! Now, remember, that there are very limited quantities left of them and that they have been discounted from my original kit prices!! What is left of them can be seen in a collage below and most of them have at least 1kit left to maybe 2 at the most!! Once these are gone, that’s it and they willl not be seen again!! So take a look and hurry and grab those that you like while you still can before being completely gone!!
Finally, we have arrived at the current WIP for this week! At the beginning of this project, I somehow didn’t follow my pattern correctly and something was way off(I’ll show you in the working photos😁) and ended up having to start over…it happens-rarely-but I did and got it restarted and back on track😉! There’s not many colors in this one, but it will be awesome and cute! Oh, and by the way, this one will be a 4×10…longer than a bracelet but smaller than a 5×7. So, it was until row 20 on Monday night(cyber Monday) that I realized something was off and had to tear it apart and began anew! It was Tuesday when I came back and was back on track with everything being good with 10 rows again😊. By the end of that day I had about 40 rows done-at that time no one was able to guess what it was yet. Wednesday came around and someone finally did guess that it is EVA!! I just love this show and I had to do something for it😉. I had about 55 rows done when I started off that day and when I finished for the day I had about 90 rows done…with EVA almost completely done except a small part of her hand. Thursday, I started my day off with about 110 rows and the corner of WALL·E’s hand peeking out trying to grab EVA’s. Later that day, when it was time for me to cook dinner, I had around 140 rows done…just look at that cute blush on her face!! Now we come to today and I am starting my day off with about 160 rows done…I am getting there-almost done!! Don’t they look so cute so far?!?! That brings us to the end for this week…I don’t have any updates really for my K~Max Klub-only to say- Keep sharing your WIP’s with us!! Well, I am off to bead away and bring CHEER to my home with decorating for the holidays!! You see I have my 2 kids (16& 19) and they still want a Christmas tree and all the decorations 😍 for Christmas!! Time for beading and lots of cheer and holiday spirit coming up!!
