WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!

Oh MY! What a weekend it was!! First it started out with my Birthday on Friday (that carried over a little over until the weekend).  Then on Saturday I was made a Grandmother!  My oldest son and new daughter-in-law had a baby girl!!  I am so proud!  I am hoping to be able to meet my newest family member soon, but for now, photos will have to do!! But either way, I am a PROUD GRANDMOTHER!!!!

And then on Sunday it was Father’s Day!! I was able to wish my father, my husband and my son (brand new) Father’s Day!!

So we spent the weekend focused on family!  But I was able to finish the baby’s blanket (that will go out later today) in between reading the new Lisa Wingate book – The Sea Keeper’s Daughters  – this is a ‘PRE RELEASE’ for us (the select few) to review, edit and enjoy!! Here is the book with the finished blanket….I’ll send more updates soon!!Let me tell you, this might be my new favorites!!  I am over 1/2 way done and will be sending it on to my sisters from the ‘Sisterhood Of the Traveling Books‘ for them to enjoy, but be watching, I will be getting a copy when it comes out…..and I’ll give one away too!!!

Oh, and did I tell you that my youngest son, Monster, was at camp all week last week?  I’ll be showing off photos from his camp this week too….just look at him!! I am so happy that not only he had a great time, but as a special needs child that he also was able to get along with the other kids.  I am so very very very proud of him!!

Yep, there is more, I also worked on my bookmark!!  Here is where I start off this morning!
