Good Morning!! It seems like it has been awhile since I have done a blog post…I was having some problems with my main site and some of you were even able to tell me that you were not able to go to my page…Well, NOW it should be fixed and everyone should be able to come and visit my page and see what is going on 🙂 I don’t know if you all have seen the new listing of the ‘For the Love of Cats,’ but I will be showing you that today as well as where I am with a new WIP that I started and almost done with, then I have some patterns from my shop to share with you, and last but not least, the available kits that I have in my shop!! I’m excited to get this day going…how about you?!?!
Let’s start off with the new WIP I have been working on…some of you might have seen the start of the working photo updates through my Facebook page, for some this might be the first time seeing it but it is a beautiful brown and mahogany agate slice that I am turning into a bezel(Bezel now is complete with hanger done) and now I am starting the herringbone rope to complete this necklace. Just look at all those rich tones of browns, mahogany and gold…there is just something very sumptuous about these color combinations…don’t you thing so?!?! REMEMBER, that you can check out my Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page throughout the day to watch updates and working photos!
Next, how about I show you some of the patterns that I have in my shop! Some of you might already know that I have already made patterns in my shop for purchase, some of you might not…so I thought that it is a great opportunity through my blog, to share with you on occasion, the ones that I have already available!! These patterns are already created for you to follow along, whether it is single or double…you would receive the word chart with the suggested color delicas- that does not mean you have to use these colors…you may change them to what ever you would like 🙂 I know some of you have bought my patterns already, and some are there because some of you asked me to create them for you, but gave me permission to keep in my shop and share with others! Some of you already may know too, that if I don’t have a pattern here in my shop that you would like to do, that I can create one for you…so remember to just ask or send me a message if you need something special!!
Today, one of the Patterns I want to share with you all is called “Waving U.S. Flag”. With this Pattern, you will be given a colored chart and a word chart. The Delica colors that I have listed on the pattern are the colors that I have used in completing the design…they are there for reference but may be substituted if need be. This pattern is roughly the size of 2 inches by 5.33 inches and is Single step peyote 🙂 Here it is…
Now, on to the most recent New Listing in my shop…’For the Love of Cats!’ This necklace was so much fun to make…Two very cute and adorable cats sitting next to each other and their tails curling up in such a way it looks like a heart around them!! To complete the look, I found a very soft and silky black rope- it is not adjustable, however it was made long enough to fit almost anyone!! Now, let’s move on to the kits that I have available in my shop as of right now! As of right now, I have One type of kit available in my shop!! I have the new pattern for the Peyote Bracelet of the Month Kit which is up now until July 10th!! Keep an eye out…there will be another kit available soon!!
The Kit now available in my shop is the Peyote Bracelet of the Month kit. This month’s kit features a wolf howling at the moon. I had a little difficulty with the pattern at first, getting it to a place where I loved it and it could be easily seen, but now…I love how this pattern turned out…and as always…my daughter claimed the first sample I made of this bracelet. For those of you new to my kits, when you purchase one of my kits, you will be getting everything you need to complete this bracelet…which means, you will get the word chart, all the delica beads needed, the findings for the bracelet, and the needle. You will have to have some kind of beading mat, thread, and scissors at home 🙂 The colors in the kits are subject to availability and they are now available to order until July 10th!! The kits will be mailed out on/by the 18th of July…and remember this pattern is only available to this Kit…it is not available to purchase separately!!
Today is the DAY to SPARKLE…no matter what, find something that makes you SMILE and SPARKLE today…the sunshine, jewelry, a creation…something!!
