Hello & Happy Friday!! 🌞. How is everyone?!?! It’s been getting busy-getting back into going to the Arts Markets and Shows 😃. I am enjoying being able to go and see all of you again and to be to share my passion and creativity with you all!! Something came up last week and I was not able to do a blog post, so this week will be a combination of last weeks news with this weeks😉. Yesterday was the last day to grab the February Sunset Giraffe Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit-if you purchased one, they will be soon going out in the mail😍. I will be getting the March kit ready soon-so make sure you keep an eye out! I have some WIP’s, some New Listings( lot’s of new patterns😃) and some Klub news to share! Let’s get started, shall we?!?!
Let’s go back a bit(2/18) to the last blog post I had done…I was working on a WIP that Friday and had started my day with 30 rows(which was what was last reported) and by the end of that day I had finished off at row 50 with 2,300 beads. At that point there was lots of hair and her face was starting to show with her eyebrows present and beginning of eyes. When I came back last week on Tuesday( last Monday was president’s day so I took the day off the computer but did lots of beading) I had 85 rows done with 3,910 beads. Just look at Pocahontas’s face-love how her hair seems to be flowing in the wind😍. Throughout the rest of the week I built her up row by row adding details of her necklace, jeweled armband, her arms and dress and then finally her legs and by Friday I finished her with 190 rows and 8,740 beads. During that weekend I matted and framed her and for her ready for one of the new listing for this week😉. For now, here are some of the working photos!
Have you seen all the New Patterns?!?! Time to show you a New Listing😉. There were just too many new awesome patterns to be able to list them individually here in the blog, so I created a collage of most of the ones I have listed these past two weeks with a link under it to be able to go directly to my shop where they are all listed individually 😍. There you will see all new ones and as well as many others!
At the beginning of this week on Monday, I came back and started a new WIP😃 This one is going to be a small beaded ‘Art’, however it could be a bracelet too, just would be really wide😉. I started with 10 rows, lots of background color and a part with some really bright color! By the end of that day there were 50 rows completed with 1,100 beads… a Nemo fish-or at Lear half of one😉! Tuesday I kicked off my day with 60 rows and half of his other eye was done!! All day I pulled my rose and kept beating until it was time to do laundry and dinner and finished up at row 100 with 2,200 beads. Now Dory is starting to show exclamation exclamation. By the time they came back Wednesday morning, I had almost one eye completed on Dory-I forgot what row it was and then what the bead count was… I didn’t keep track very well this time😊. I can tell you though, after beading throughout the day and having more than half of Dory done, there was 150 rows complete with 3,102 beads! This WIP is going pretty quick and I think that I will finish it up on Thursday😃. Thursday I came back with a few more rows done and Dory’s second eye almost completely done. Just like I thought-I finished Nemo and Dory that same day with 180 rolls and 3,762 beads!! I will be putting it in a special frame and getting the final photos done this weekend and then listing it next week hopefully😉!! For now, I look back at some of the working photos.
Time for another New Listing!! This one is of the recently finished Kawaii Style Pocahontas 5×7 Art. It is framed and can be set up on display or even hung on the wall…perfect for the fan of Pocahontas, little or big…no right age to own this beautiful art image😃
Now we can move on to the New and most current WIP😃. This one I started right after finishing Nemo and Dory Thursday afternoon and managed to start the first 10 rows and get to row 20 by the end of the day. Again it’s mostly background but there is a hint of something else already there😉. Today I kick my day off at 30 rows and can see what appears to be eyebrows…no guesses yet but I’m sure someone will guess soon! I would like to share with you all the fact that I do still have a few past available kits in my shop-a lot have sold out but there are still a few bracelet & art kits 😃. Anyways…let me show you the collage I have of what I believe I have left of the kits in my shop-you’ll find the link to that section under the photo😉 Some might already be gone-I have been seeing many grab up the last few kits-so click on the link to see what is still available😉😃😁!!
Last but not least, we have some K~Max Klub new and updates!! From about two weeks ago you might remember that I posted about one of our members-Karen-who was working on the pattern called ‘Painted Dancer’ and she was about halfway through, well this time I am excited to announce that she has finished the whole pattern and has shared with us in a post the final picture of her completed work. I will be sharing her post with you all very soon, however, first I would like to ask you all if you are already for the next bead along? Would you all like something that is geared towards the spring time or for Easter? Let me know some suggestions and I can get to work on a pattern and on the sample to show you all😃. In the meantime, on our club page in the file section you can find any past bead a long pattern I can do on your own free time! Here is the post that Kevin shared with us – she did a beautiful job on her ‘Painted Dancer’.
Well, that will be a wrap for this week!! I hope you all have enjoyed all the updates and news from the past two weeks😉 The Sunset Giraffe kits for February will be going out in the mail soon for those who have ordered one-so keep an eye out!! I will be trying to get something for K~Max Klub ready for a bead along and also the upcoming March Peyote bracelet In a box Kit ready.
