Hello & welcome back to another Monday Blog post!! ☀ How is everyone doing this week?!?! The previous weekend was spent with beads, resting, laundry, and family!! Did any of you work on anything special?!?! I am here today to review everything KraftyMaxOriginal from last week (8/8-8/14) ☺. I got to finish up one WIP then list it and start on a new WIP, then besides listing the WIP, I also now have the August Kit up and listed too!! Not too much new going on this past week but let’s go ahead and see those WIP’s, listings and news from my K~Max Klub!!
Let’s start with the WIP of the Kawaii style 5×7 of Jack Sparrow and where I picked back up on Monday 8/8! I started that day off with 75 rows (3,450 beads) done and at this point Jack’s face was almost completely done! I kept pulling my rows 5 at a time and then weaved them together throughout the day until it was time to start my dinner…I got 20 rows done up until then and stopped at row 95 (4,370 beads) and there you could see his beard and the beginning of his upper body. The next morning, after being able to bead a little more the previous night, I came back to my tray at row 110 (5,060 beads) and more of his upper body done. By the end of my ‘workday’ I ended up getting another 20 rows added before it was time to fix my dinner, ending at row 130 (5,980 beads) and at that point, was starting his lower body and seeing the top of his hands!! Wednesday (8/10), I started my day off with another 15 rows added-making it row 145 (6,670 beads) and his hands were done with the start of seeing the swords in his hands 😉. At that point, there is about only 55 rows left!! Can you believe that?!?! That day I managed to get another 20 rows (finishing up at row 165 with 7,590 beads) done before it was dinner time then what I thought was going to be my BINGO time…but I didn’t end up being able to go and instead I ended up beading more that night, therefore starting my Thursday off at row 185 (8,510 beads) and here his legs are almost done!! Just a few more rows to go for that Thursday to finish up at row 198!! I finished it and only needed to get it matted and framed then photographed!! Let’s take a look back at some of those working photos and in a little bit you’ll get to see the listing for it ☺!
It’s that time again!! Time to do the Monthly Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit!!! This month, we have a Majestic White PeacockPattern!! This is a Single Drop peyote pattern (It will be the 3rd & Final installment of my peacock patterns) and each kit will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart In Single drop peyote (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from August 1, 2022, until August 30, 2022, and then Kits will be mailed on or by September 7, 2022. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with these kits!! After August 30th these patterns/kits will no longer be Available!! Delica Bead colors are subject to change!!
Now, let’s look at the Listing for the kawaii style 5×7 Jack Sparrow! This tapestry was done in 2-drop peyote and done with no knotting or glue (except to matt it to frame it). It is a fun and bright piece of art that will bring lots of fun to wherever it is placed!! Are you a fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean?!?! Do you know someone who’d love to add this to their collection?!?! It is matted and framed and can be hung up on the wall or put on a special shelf!! This is a piece of art that will keep giving for generations to come and be passed down and perfect for those who love Johnny Depp and his role in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies!! Since I finished up early enough on Thursday with the Jack Sparrow WIP, I was able to get the next WIP out and started!! I was only able to get the first 10 rows started (180 beads) and get another 10 rows added early Friday morning, starting with a total of 20 rows (360 beads). Not much there to see yet-a lot of colors in this one!! This WIP is being worked in Single drop peyote and contains 16 colors in it-It is the August Kit sample for the White Peacock ☺! All day that Friday, I pulled my rows of 10 and beaded until it was time to get ready for the weekend activities and stopped at row 60 (1,080 beads) and could see mostly the bottom of the tail with a bit of background and something else coming through!! Time for showing you the rest of the available kits that I still have left in my shop -there are not too many left, so grab them while you can!! Remember, when these are gone, that is it!! Last but not least, it is time for some news and updates from my K~Max Klub!! Not too much new from here this week, just a reminder that the Sunset and Cherry Tree bead along is still up (as well as others) in the Klub and can be found in the file tab section of the Klub!! Also, don’t forget to share any or all of your WIP’s of past bead alongs, patterns from me or kits too!! This past week we have one member who has completed this bead a long and has shared her final results with us ☺. Jessica shared with us hers…unlike mine, which was a sunset, hers turned out more like a sunrise!! This just goes to show that any pattern can definitely turn out differently in correlation to colors that are chosen. I think hers came out great and love that it is so different from mine-I can’t wait to see someone else do this one and see how different it could look!! Let’s go ahead and look at her post she shared with us from the klub 😉!
There you have it!! Another great week in review with lots of beading and fun that has passed by ☺!! Now it is time for me to get to more bead weaving and finish up that sample for this month and then off to another project 😉!
