Hello & Happy Monday!! How is everyone doing this last week of August?!?! Last week was a little hectic for me and unfortunately, I was unable to get the weekly blog out that I am trying to make sure I do on a weekly basis to review the week before ☹ So this blog will be a review of the past two weeks-the WIP’s, listings, etc. from 2 weeks ago (8/15-8/21) will just be a quick review, but those from this past week (8/22-8/28), I will go into more detail 😉. I also have an updated Rest of the year schedule for my shows and thinking about new ideas for upcoming bead along for the K~Max Klub. The August Peacock kit is coming to an end and soon I will have a new pattern up for the September Kit…Let’s go ahead and get the beads 🤣.
I want to first start out with a little review of the WIP’s from the week of 8/15- 8/21 ☺. I won’t go into complete detail like I usually do but just a review of the working photos for each WIP I did for that week. For the beginning of that week, I started off finishing the white Peacock sample bracelet for this month’s kit then after finishing that I started working on another bracelet of a Dalmatian 😉. Let’s go ahead and look at those working photos, shall we?!?!
Next, I would like to go back to that same week and show you the new listing that I had ☺. It was of the sample of the White Peacock for the August Kit, which was done in single peyote with 16 colors!! This is the last of the Peacock patterns I will be doing…it is such a beautiful pattern that makes such a lovely and unique bracelet to wear and enhance any outfit any time of the year!! Let’s go ahead and look at that listing 😉.
That will catch us up for the WIP’s and the listings for 2 weeks ago, now it’s time to catch up for last week-the week of 8/22-28! Starting out on that Monday the 22nd, I came back and had the Dalmatian bracelet finished…I was able to complete it over the weekend and will show you not only the final picture but also the listing for it too 😉. That same day, I got to start a new WIP that took me through to the rest of this past week. This time around, I decided to go with a 5×7 Art in a 2-drop peyote and with only 5 colors. I started out with the first 5 rows (230 beads) and all black 📿 beads. By the end of that day, I had 20 rows (920 beads) done and still working with only the black beads 😉. Then on Tuesday, I came back and started my day off with 35 rows (1,610 beads) and now there was something else that could be seen!! I pulled my rows and beaded the day away until it was time to get my dinner ready and so I had to stop at row 60 (2,760 beads) and still mostly black beads with more white beads added-still hard to see and tell what it will be still at this point ☺. Wednesday morning came and I already had 90 rows (4,140 beads) and still black and white beads and no one had been able to guess yet what it would be. At the end of that day, I was feeling the lack of sleep from the night before staying up and beading and managed to only get to row 110 (5,060 beads) and a new color added-red!! Thursday was another new day for beading, and I started my day off with 120 rows (5,520 beads) and it was finally guessed that it was the Beast with the 🌹 from Beauty and the Beast!! As the day progressed, I added another 20 rows finishing my day off with row 140 (6,440 beads) and the red of the rose is done and half the stem too!! Friday, I came back to my tray with another 10 rows added making it row 150 (6,900 beads) and there was the falling petal! I enjoyed my day, pulling out my rows 5 at a time and ended up stopping for the day at row 170 (7,820 beads) and there you could see his hand holding the rose! Let’s go ahead and look at the new listing for this past week!! It was of the Dalmatian Bracelet!! A fun and cute way to jazz up any outfit!! It’s perfect for those who not only love dalmatian dogs but for those who are a big fan of the 101 dalmatian movies 😉!! This is a kawaii style dalmatian from 101 Dalmatians!! Hurry up and grab this kit while you can-it’s almost coming to an end!!! This month, we have a Majestic White PeacockPattern!! This is a Single Drop peyote pattern (It will be the 3rd & Final installment of my peacock patterns) and each kit will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart In Single drop peyote (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from August 1, 2022 until August 30, 2022 and then Kits will be mailed on or by September 7, 2022. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with these kits!!After August 30th these patterns/kits will no longer be Available!! Delica Bead colors are subject to change!!

Last but not least, a quick update in the K~Max Klub 😉!! At the moment, there are no recent posts of anyone sharing their works from bead a long or of kits, or patterns… I’m sure soon someone will have something to share and inspire us all ☺. The current bead a long from this month is still up as well as other past ones-they can all be found in our klub file section!! I also have been working on maybe getting a new pattern for a new bead a long-maybe for the upcoming month and I have put up a quick questionnaire in the Klub as well as on my page of what people are looking for in kits, just so I could get an idea of things and maybe changing things up. If you have already answered-awesome and thank you!! If not, if you have a quick moment to answer-that would be awesome 😉. Whew!! What a review for the past two weeks!! I am really trying to make it a weekly review, but I am sure there will be time I will have to double up-I’ll try really hard not to though!! As you might have seen, we are coming to the end of August and with that said, that means the White Peacock kit is coming to an end…there is today and tomorrow to grab this kit before it is gone!! I will be beading more on the Beast and his rose this week and will probably be working out some new patterns for a new kit as well as a bead a long for the Klub!! I hope everyone has been having a great summer and is excited for the fall to come, I know I am excited for the fall ☺!
