Happy Monday!! WIP’s, News, Listings & Available Kits!!

Hello and Happy Monday💕!!  It’s been a while since I last posted- I didn’t post a review blog last week because it had been a crazy week with another storm that had hit us down here in Florida and I decided to wait to combine the past two weeks together☺.  So, this blog will be from all the things I worked on or posted about from 11/7-11/20. During that time, I did bead but because of the storm, I didn’t do as much as I usually would have…so, there will be a review of the 5×7 Art of the hippo and then of the bracelet of a flower tattoo that I finished up this past Friday.  I do have one new listing and I did list the new flower tattoo bracelet, but it was already sold😉!!  Don’t worry, if you liked that bracelet and would like the chance to make it yourself, I do have this particular pattern listed in my pattern shop!!  Then for my Klub News/Updates, I have one of my members (Jessica) who has been busy, working away at some of my past kits she has in her stock!!  Are you all ready to see the review of what has been going on these past 2 weeks?!?!  Let’s go ahead and get the beads…I mean words, flowing 😂!!

Let’s review the Hippo 5×7 Art WIP first, from the week of 11/7 and finished up this past Monday 11/14.  When I picked back up this WIP on 11/7, I started out with 35rows (1,610 beads) and it was literally just his tail end and a lil bit of his rump sticking out!  I had beaded all afternoon until I had my daily life to get to (dinner etc.) and stopped at row55 (2,530 beads) and one of his hind legs and belly starting to show.  Tuesday 11/8, when I came back, I showed off that I had had to take out rows and go back because I just really didn’t like the black toes on his leg…it just wasn’t working for me, so I had to tear out those rows the night before and go back and redo with a white color🤯!  When I went through and fixed it, I was at row 65 (2,990 beads) …just a few more rows added on to his belly!! At the end of that day, I stopped at row 90 (4,140 beads) and his other back leg, one of his fore front legs and of course, more of his belly was completely showing. Wednesday 11/9, I started my day off with row 100 (4,600 beads) and his head was starting to peak through. I managed to get to row 120 (5,520 beads) by the end of that day and one of his front legs were complete as well more of his head…not quite yet getting to his face yet at that point😉.   Unfortunately because of the storm, I was not able to post anything of my working photos for the next few days (11/10-11/13) but I did do some beading on this guy during the storm and so this past Monday 11/14, I came back and showed you that I was on row185 (8,510 beads)  of course I was already almost done and the whole hippo was almost complete-just needed a few more rows to finish his snout and a little of the background.  Later that day, I showed off my final working photo of him at row200 (9,200 beads)!! Just too cute…I’ll be showing off his listing later in the blog post…for now let’s take a look at some of those working photos😉!!

It’s a New month-the month of November!!  That means it’s time for a new Kit!! This month’s kit features a beautiful Searching the Stars pattern!!  This is a 2-Drop peyote pattern, and each kit will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart in 2-drop peyote (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings.  Kit dates are as follows: Available from November 2, 2022, until December 2, 2022, and then Kits will be mailed on or by December 10, 2022.   A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with these kits!!After September 30th these patterns/kits will no longer be Available!!  Delica Bead colors are subject to change!!

Don’t forget, I have some of my past kits still available as well as the new kit for this month!! There are very limited quantities of each kit pictured…now is the time to scoop these up-once gone, they will no longer be available!! SO, come and check what is left and grab yours today!!

Now, let’s move on to the other WIP-the flower tattoo 2-drop peyote bracelet.  This was started out at row 10 (200 beads) on 11/14 and it was just background color-the great thing about this pattern, is that it required only 2 colors!! 😊 Since I got a late start on it that day (after finishing the hippo 5×7) I only managed to get to row 20 (400 beads) before I had to go off and get dinner done and there was a hint of the second color starting to appear. Tuesday 11/15, I kicked my day off at row 30 (600 beads) and already you could see the tips of the flower petals!!  By the end of that day and pulling my rows 10@ a time, I managed to make it to row 70 (1,400) beads with the swirls starting, before having to get dinner started.  Wednesday 11/16, I started my day off with another 10 rows added-making that row 80 (1,600 beads) and wow!!  The way it was looking in person at this point even though it was only two colors, was just wow!! I know it is hard to see it in the picture, but you just must see this pattern done in person!!  At the end of that day, I was already at row 120 (2,400 beads) more swirls and working way down the flower tattoo. Thursday 11/17, I started my day off with a few sets of rows done already-at row 140 (2.800 beads) and getting down to the stem tattoo of the flower.  I had thought I was going to finish it that day but didn’t quite make it and ended up leaving off on row 180 (3,600 beads) …it only needed a few more background rows as the flower part was done.  I did end up finishing it later that night and even got it listed-but it sold right away!! Next up, I have the listing of the very Cute & Adorable 5×7 Hippo Art!!  What more is there to say about this cutie-Just look at him!!  He would make a great gift for any time of the year for anyone that loves hippos or collects animal art!!  Also, it would be perfect for an expecting mom for the nursery!!  It is one of those arts that is perfect for just about anyone or any occasion 😉.   Here is the photo of the listing with a link to check it out- just click it and you can read and see everything about it!!

Finally, we have some news/updates from my K~Max Klub ☺!!  So far there are no new bead a-longs, just the last one that was the Fall pattern and of course all previous patterns for bead a-longs are in our Klub file tab.  Remember, these patterns are only for our klub members and are not to be shared 😉.  We have had one member, Jessica, who has been very buys working away on some of my past kits/patterns and in the past two weeks, she has completed 2 kits!!  She finished a pattern called Grace and then another one that was a Long Stem Rose, and both of those patterns were made in 2-drop.  She did an amazing job, and I would like to share her posts here with all of you-maybe you saw them and maybe you didn’t-hopefully they will inspire all you to create and share just like it does for me…I love seeing all your posts on all the kits/patterns/ bead-a-longs that I have done 😍!!  Let’s go ahead and see those posts…oh and very soon I’ll have a black Friday sale going up so be on the lookout for that too!!
