Hello & Happy Monday!! 💕 How was everyone’s past week/weekend?!?! My past week/weekend was quite busy with lots of beading and then the Halifax Art Festival over the weekend!! I ended up finishing 2 WIP’s last week and even starting a new one 😉. Then I got to list one of those WIP’s as a new listing along with the new kit for November!! Then I had one of my members from the K~Max Klub posts her finished monthly kit on our Klub page that she had gotten from me all the way back in Jan 2021 that she had in her stock!! Let’s get right to it shall we?!?! Time to get the beads rolling and show you all the review from last week’s posts (10/31-11/6)!!
I am going to start out by reviewing where I left off on the WIP of the 5×7 Kawaii style Sven. When I came back on Monday 10/31, I started off with row 175 (8,400 beads) and had most of his body done and was starting his hooves…was able to do some bead work over the previous weekend ☺. Since that day was Halloween, I ended up finishing up at row 195 (9,360 beads) to get dinner and then go help out at the school (my kids are too old for trick or treating 😉). I managed to be able to finish the last few rows that same night (row 205 with 9,840 beads) after coming back from helping at the school so then I only had to matt it and photograph it (which I did before starting a new WIP 😉.) Let’s take a look at those last working photos and later I will show you the listing for him!!
Last Tuesday 11/1, I started the new WIP of a 2-drop peyote bracelet with the first 10 rows (180 beads) and mostly a blue background with some black in top corner. Then I pulled my row throughout the day (10 at a time) and by the time it was time to get dinner done that night, I was able to get to row 50 (900 beads) with what now looked like branches and bright colorful leaves ☺. The following day, 11/2, I kicked my day off at row 60 (1,080 beads) with more branches and leaves growing out into the background of the sky. At the end of that day, I finished at row 100 (1, 800 beads) and branches reaching up into the sky with more brightly colored leaves. Thursday, 11/3, I started my day off at row 110 (1,980 beads) …those branches keep growing out!! Later that night, I had to stop at row 150 (2,700 beads) to get dinner ready. Friday morning (11/4), I was able to get it done with a total of 180 rows (3,180 beads) and love how the branches and leaves look with that blue sky in the background. Time to look back at some of those working photos and this will be a new listing coming up this week 😉!
Let us now take a little break from reviewing the WIP’s and take a look at the Listings for last week ☺💕. We have the Kawaii Inspired 5×7 Sven- which is from Frozen and is just too darn cute!! It would be perfect gift for the littles or even the ‘bigger’ kids who love anything and everything Frozen and is something they can always keep and treasure and pass down to their kids!! Then I have the new listing of the November Kit as well as very few of the past kits from previous years monthly kits. It’s a New month-the month of November!! That means it’s time for a new Kit!! This month’s kit features a beautiful Searching the Stars pattern!! This is a 2-Drop peyote pattern, and each kit will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart in 2-drop peyote (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from November 2, 2022, until December 2, 2022, and then Kits will be mailed on or by December 10, 2022. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with these kits!!After September 30th these patterns/kits will no longer be Available!! Delica Bead colors are subject to change!!
Next up, a quick look at the beginning of the new WIP I started Friday Afternoon…a 5×7. The first 5 rows (230 beads) are all background color…a nice bright red. I pulled a few rows of five and beaded until I had to wrap it up to start getting the car loaded for the Halifax Art Festival for this past weekend and stopped at row 15 690 beads) and a hint of another color and shape of something. This is the WIP I will be working on this week…so REMEMBER, that you can check out my Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page  throughout the day to watch updates and working photos and for now let’s preview those working photos ☺.
Now, time to talk K~Max Klub News and Updates!! I have nothing new going on right now for our Klub members…all past bead longs are in the members file tab and members can access them and do them at their own pace-DON’T forget to share them and inspire us all by posting your results from the bead a longs or kits/patterns you have gotten from me with everyone!! I had a member this past week post about one of the kits she got from me back in Jan 2021 and had in her stock-she finally got to work on it and finish it!! I would like to share her posts with you all-didn’t she do a fantastic job!!
There we are…that will wrap up the review from last week 😉!! So, what did you all think?!?! Do you all like to see the updates on the work in progress? I think that it is something interesting to see…just how few rows added can change how the work looks while beading it and I love to capture the design while it’s taking place!!
