It’s Been a Long Time!! New WIP’s, Listings, Klub News & Available Kits!!

Hello and Happy Friday!!! ☀ It has been a long time since I have been able to post a blog 😳.  Life sometimes can get in the way…but here I am, back and blogging about everything that has been going on for the past 3 weeks!!  I have been beading up a storm and keeping busy with going to festivals, shows and my local art markets when I can on the weekends.  I have also been trying to work on more patterns and getting ready for new kits-like for the new kit for May 😉.  If you haven’t seen, I also have listed a few new things these past three weeks as well.  So, this week I will be showing some of the WIP’s that I have worked on and even finished, some new listings, a new available kit for May, past available kits that I still have as well as some news/updates from my K~Max Klub!!  Let’s get the beads ☻

Start off of week 5/2

I first want to go all the way back to the week of May 2nd when I was working on the Kawaii style ‘The Child 5×7’ ☺.  In the beginning of that week, I was having trouble posting for some reason but when I was finally able to show you where I was on this WIP, I was at row 50 (2,400 beads) with background and the top part of his head showing with the ship too. I worked throughout the rest of that week and ended up stopping that Friday (5/6) at row 135 (6,480 beads) with the child done and the whole top part of the ship complete.  Over that weekend, I did not get to bead much because it was mine and my husband’s 23rd Anniversary that Saturday and of course the day after was Mother’s Day!! The following Monday 5/9, I came back with not too much more added and started off with row 150 (7,200 beads) and at least halfway through the bottom part of his ship!  By the end of that day, I was at row 170 (8,160 beads) and only a tiny bit more of the bottom of the ship to finish and the rest of the background.  The next day (5/10), I was able to finish of everything for The Child Kawaii style in a 5×7.  I was able to get him framed and photographed and even listed…Will be showing off this listing later on 😉.  Let’s take a look back at some of the working photos-just in case you missed them!

Let’s take a look at one of the new listings from the past 3 weeks!!  This one is actually the sample bracelet that I did from the April Peyote in a Box Kit!!  It is called ‘Elephants in a line’. Beautiful background colors with what looks like a family of elephants walking together to their next destination.  Do you love elephants, or know someone who does? This would be the perfect gift to give 😉.  Want to know more?  Just click on the link below the photo to find out more about this beauty!!

Where I started 5/10

Later, that same day (5/10), I started a new WIP!!  I started what I call the ‘Music character’ bracelet…a simple and quick pattern that has very few colors!!  I started off with the first 10 rows (200 beads), which is mostly background color with a hint of the music notes.  Then the next day I kicked off with 20 rows (400 beads) …more background color and ‘music notes’ in the air.  By the end of that day, I had 60 rows done (1,200 beads) and the top of the headphone set and his head showing now.  The following day (5/12) I started off at row 70 (1,400 beads) and more of the 🎧 set showing and more of his head, but no eyes or anything else yet. After beading through the day, I finished at row 110 (2,200 beads) and his whole face was completed with his hand up by the 🎧’s and all music notes done too!! That Friday (5/13) I came back to the bead tray with 120 rows (2,400) beads and his upper body was done.  I tried to bead as much as I could to try to finish that day, but I was only able to get to row 160 (3,200 beads) with more of his body done.  Only have his legs and the rest of the background to do at that point, but I had to get ready to go to the RAM that weekend, so I had to put him away ☺.  When I came back that Monday (5/16) I was at row 170 (3,400 beads) in the morning and by later on in the afternoon I finished him completely with 205 rows (4,000 beads). Only thing left to do was to finish putting on the findings, photograph him, edit and then list him 😉.  I will be showing the listing for this cute guy later!! For now, let’s take a look at some of the working photos!!

where I started 5/17

Now, let’s go on to the last WIP that I have started and finished in these past 3 weeks!  This one I got started on 5/17 (this past Tuesday), but I was not having a great computer day and was unable to post working photos of the beginning of the WIP.  So, I have here the working photos I start off with for on Wednesday at row 60 (1,080 beads) with a beautiful bright background and something very ‘PINK’.  I beaded all day until it was my time to get ready for my ‘BINGO’ night…and finished up at row 100 (1,800 beads) and Angel was finished along with a heart and the beginning of Stitch’s face was showing.  Yesterday (5/19), I started my day off with row 110 (1,980 beads) with more of Stitch done…aren’t they so cute?!?!  Who doesn’t love ‘love’?!?!  I worked on them all day, thinking that I was going to be able to finish them, but when I did the math, I knew I was going to be a couple of sets short of finishing and had to stop at row 140 (2,520 beads).  I was almost finishing up with the rest of Stitch!!  SO, here we are today (5/20), and I start my day off with 160 rows (2,860 beads) and I am almost done!! Stitch is completely done and all I have left to do is add the rest of the background for the rest of the length needed to finish the bracelet then add all the findings to it!!  Let’s look back at some of the working photos and hopefully over the weekend I will get to photograph and edit and list it for next week 😉!!

Time to show off another new listing!! Then I also still have a few Past available kits still available…they have been going even quicker lately 😁!!  The new last new listing is of the ‘Music Character’ bracelet!! He is just so cute and fun and would be perfect to wear for anytime of the year just for fun and to jazz up an outfit for that one of a kind look 😉!!  So, let’s look at that-I’ll leave the link for more info under the photo and then I will show you what I have left of those available past kits with the link for those under that photo 😉!!

Last but not least, I have some K~Max Klub news and updates!!  I am currently working on ideas for the next bead along…my question for all my klub members is if they have any ideas or something they would possibly like to see as the next pattern?!?!  Just let me know on the post on our klub page 😉!!  In the past 2 weeks, I have seen that our member Jessica, has been working on and has finished some of my patterns from the shop or the monthly kits!! She has posted them to share with the klub and I would like to take the time to share with everyone here how beautiful she did with them.  I just love how they turned out and can’t wait to see all the other members post their finished patterns, or kits they have gotten from me as well…it’s fun and inspiring to see everyone’s interpretation of my designs…sometimes they look similar, but most times look so different depending on the colors everyone uses!!  So, give me some ideas and keep an eye out for the next bead along!!!!  Here are the posts that Jessica shared with us in the meantime ☺.

Alrighty…that is what I have been up to for these past 3 weeks!!  Working on WIP’s, going to festivals, markets and shows, celebrating my anniversary with my husband, celebrating Mother’s Day with my mother-in-law (my beautiful daughter making us an awesome steak dinner and even did clean up as well), and working on patterns and getting listings done!!! Been doing a lot and it has been great, even when life has gotten in the way-I just keep going and enjoying the beads, my family and all that surrounds me!!  I hope all of you are enjoying life as well and just keep creating that perfect thing for all of you, whether it be art, music, or any other thing that makes you, you!!  Enjoy and find that time to just be and have fun!!  If all goes well, I will be back next with a new blog post…and as long as no other computer malfunctions, posting something new every day next week too 😉😁☺!!!  Have a great weekend!!!

Happy Friday Everyone!!
