WIP’s, New Listings, Klub News & Available Kits!! The End of May & The Beginning of June

Hello & Happy Monday everyone!!  How is everyone doing…anything new going on?!?!  I have decided to Change things up a little bit and instead of posting blogs on Friday’s, to start posting them on Mondays!!☺ I have been busy beading away and prepping to get ready for shows/markets that will be coming up in the Fall…the previous weekend (memorial weekend) was my last show/market until August!!  I have been getting patterns ready for new and upcoming monthly kits as well as bead a long for my K~Max Klub group and even designing other patterns to list in my shop!!  Then while doing all that I have been working on WIP’s and trying to get those up and listed in my shop…busy-very busy, but so much fun!!  Today I have some updates and news to share with you all from the past two weeks…some WIP’s, some new listings, and even some updates from a member of the K~Max Klub group!!  Let’s get started, shall we?!?!

I want to start things off a little bit differently than how I would usually 😉!!  Today I want to start off with the Monthly kit for May!!  There is a little bit of time left to get this wonderful kit that features a sun/moon combo with sunrise/stars.  It is a design that features the single even count peyote stitch and will come with all the delica beads needed to complete the pattern as well as a needle and the findings and a word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally).  You will receive everything needed to complete this Krafty Max Originals designed bracelet…delica beads are subject to change based upon availability ☺.  The kit is available until June 17th and will be mailed on or by June 22nd.  This is a pattern only available to those who purchase this kit and after June 17th will no longer be available.

Now, I would like to go back to the WIP from about two weeks ago (started it late on a Friday-5/20) …the birds on a branch bracelet.  I started with only the first 10 rows (200 beads) with the background color and only got to row 30 (600 beads) before I had to pack it up for the day.  When I came back from that weekend away, I started up at row 40 (800 beads) and still only background colors showing.  Throughout that day (5/23) I pulled my rows of 10 and kept beading sets until I got to row 80 (1,600 beads) and could only see a hint of a branch within the background colors, before I had to go and get dinner ready 😉.  The following day, I was able to start off on row 90 (1,800 beads) after doing my first set of 10 rows for the day…now you can see a hint of a bird starting to appear.  By the end of that day, I had 130 rows (2,600 beads) put into the bracelet.  On Wednesday (5/25), I came back to my tray with 160 rows (3,200 beads) done I was able to do quite a bit the night before, as I couldn’t sleep 😉.  At that time, the main part of the design was done, and the only thing left was to finish up the background!!  So, I beaded my rows of 10 at a time until I reached the end of the design of this pattern at row 200 (4,000 beads).  What a lovely and quick pattern this was to work on…let me show you some of the working photos for now, until later and I’ll show you the new listing of it ☺!!

Next, before moving on to the next WIP, let me show you one of the new listings that I had during these past two weeks!!  I just love how this one turned out with the bright and fun colors it has and is so adorable…it is just perfect to add some fun and cuteness to just about any outfit for anytime of the year!! It is the bracelet of Angel and Stitch in love!!  Perfect for the older fans as well as the younger ones 😉!! Let’s look at the listing and if you’d like to know more about it, all you have to do is click on the link below!!

The following day (5/26), I was able to start the next new WIP.  I had the first 5 rows (230 bead) done with background and a hint of something else showing of this 5×7 Art pattern.  Since this is a bigger design, I like to pull my rows by 5 rows at a time!  I did this all day-pulling 5 rows at a time and then weaving them into the art until I had to get ready for my evening chores and finished at row 25 (1,150 beads) and could see the head and horns of the baby giraffe ☺.  That Friday, I started my day off with 35 rows (1,610 beads) done after not being able to sleep the previous night!  More of his head and start of his ears showing and while pulling my rows throughout the day I added more of his head/ears and by the time the evening rolled around, I had his ears completely done with 55 rows (2,530 beads).  Then I wrapped up the day by getting ready to go to the RAM for the weekend (I’ll show some pics of my setup with you all 😉) and had fun while being there, seeing everyone that showed up!!  Since it was Memorial Day the following Monday (5/30), I took the day off the computer that day, but I still beaded!!  Tuesday (5/31) I came back with 80 rows (3,680 beads) done and now he had his eyes and beginning of his snout showing!!  At the end of the day, I finished with 100 rows (4,600 beads) and his face was almost completely done!!  That night, I could not sleep so I ended up do quite a few sets of 5 rows (6 sets in all for a total of 30 rows) and ended up starting my Wednesday (6/1) off at row 130 (5,980 beads) and quite a bit of his neck done!! By the time it came to get my dinner ready that night, I had 150 rows (6,900 beads) completed and part of his body done and even a hint of one of his hips showing!!  That night I also had trouble sleeping and did quite a bit more work on him, so when I started that Thursday, I was starting my day off at row 170 (7,820 beads) and both his hips were showing ☺!!I thought that I was going to be able to finish that day but I was only able to get to row 190 (8,740 beads) with his legs and hoofs mostly complete with just a touch more to finish plus background to do.  SO, that Friday (6/3) morning I came back and was able to do the last 8 rows to finish with 198 rows (9,108 beads).  This weekend I will be getting him framed and then hopefully listing him next week!!  Let’s take a look back at some of the working photos for now 😉!!

My set up for the Weekend Art Market(Memorial weekend)

Time for showing another new listing and showing you the rest of the available kits that I still have left in my shop as well-there are not many left, so grab them while you can!!  This one was from one of the WIP’s I worked on during these two past weeks and was a simple but very elegant/beautiful bracelet pattern of the birds sitting on the branch with a sunset background.  This new one, is one of those bracelets that can be worn at any time of the year to enhance an outfit!!  Let’s go ahead and take a look at the listing and if you’d like to know more about it, all you have to do is click on the link below and it will take you to it 😉!!  Then keep looking to see the availability of the past available kits too ☺!!

It’s hard to believe, but since I was able to finish up the giraffe 5×7 art early on in the day Friday 6/3, I was able to start another new WIP!!  This one will be of the sample of the Peyote bracelet in a box kit for this month (the sun and moon pattern). Remember, when I do bracelets, I usually show you rows of 10 at time…so the first 10 rows of this bracelet (120 beads) are showing only the beginning of a dark night with stars.  As I kept going through the day pulling my rows of 10, the sky started to lighten up and the stars getting a little less frequent.  When I had to stop for the day, I had 40 rows (480 beads) and the sky was getting lighter and with less stars!! REMEMBER, that you can check out my Facebook Fan PageGoogle+ Page, or my Instagram Pagethroughout the day to watch updates and working photos! Here is the photo where I left off on…I will continue showing more of this WIP this upcoming week!!

Finally, some news and updates from the K~Max Klub group!!  I am working on a new pattern for an upcoming bead-a-long, however, I am not sure when I will start this one yet-so make sure you keep checking back in for an update on that ☺.  In the meantime, there are plenty of patterns to look back at in our file tab on our group page (if you are a member-if not ask how you can become one to be able to enjoy these patterns and other stuff for this group) and have fun with 😉.  Don’t forget to share with us all your finished creations from the bead-a-longs or even past kits/patterns you have gotten from me…it is inspiring for all of us and can even push us out of our comfort zone to try something new!!  For now, let’s check out some of the posts that one of the members has posted in the past two weeks-she finished a 5×7 Art as well as a bracelet pattern that she had gotten from me @ my pattern shop ☺.  Jessica did such a great job and both patterns she worked on, came out great and love how they look!!  Here they are…Enjoy and remember to post yours too 😉!!!

That will bring us to the end of the past two weeks and into a new week starting 6/6.  I will be publishing my blog posts on Mondays now so you can see everything I did for a whole week including things that I myself have done during the weekends or fellow beaders/members who post things to my page or the K~Max Klub group too.  I also will be working on more projects and patterns and will have some big news coming up to share with you all, so make sure you check back in to see what will be happening soon 😉!!  The May Peyote Bracelet kit in a box will be coming to an end soon…so don’t forget to grab the kit while you still can!!  I hope everyone has had a great weekend and is ready for a new week to begin!  I will be continuing to work on the May sample bracelet and who knows what else-so keep an eye out for what’s to come!! 😉

Happy Monday!! Have a great week!!
