Well, I am up to ‘full’ strength again with my computer!! WHOOOO HOOOO!!! I have to say that last week was just so very stressful for me!! There were so many things that happened (not all bad) and life moved so very fast!! But, I am back!!
There will be sooooo much going on this week!! First, let me go back and remind you what I had gotten for the Month of August to work on for my Prima Bead Blog Team Project.
Here is what I received to work on…
And then, with my mother’s help a project was started….
I just love the feel of these creations. Although they are simple, they are beautiful and soft! I am going to ’embellish’ them with beads after….I am still learning this type of weaving.
Tomorrow I will show off another one we made….they just get better and better!!
Here is where I left off yesterday with my purple minion! I have to say that I just love his expression!! When I was designing the pattern I wasn’t sure it would look as good as it is…sometimes the pattern just doesn’t do the creation justice! But, it is making me smile and I just love working on them!!!! Remember, you can watch the creation grow on my Fan Page or Google+ page throughout the day !!
Although this isn’t a new creation, it is just to cute to not show off! I jhave just moved it to the SALE section of my studio. It would make a great gift for any animal lover!! Look close, there is a LOT to see!!
My current give-a-way is at My Daily Ramblings. There is an amazing review and a give-a-way for a $25.00 give certificate to my Krafty Max Originals studio (which can be won by ANYONE). SO please, check it out and enter!!
Today’s featured artist is: ActingCrafty. For over a decade this actor/singer has used her love of knitting and crochet to make some amazing creations. You just have to look at them to see the attention to detail and love that goes into making them. Please go check out this studio and all the wonderful things in it. I am sure you will find something that you like!! And remember, always support handmade artists, if you can!!
Today I would like to leave you with this thought;
We are not permitted to choose the frame of our destiny. But what we put into it is ours.
