Well, it is almost the end of the school year! I am not sure if I am completely excited or seriously worried about this summer! With Aye and I going to Washington DC for a week and Aye having 2 more camps over the summer; Monster spending a week with my one of my Best Friends and her kids, regular summer activities and fun…… I am tired already!!! Oh ya, hubby is also going to military school somewhere in there for two weeks! Can you say BUSY?? I sure hope the gas prices stay down – at least a little – for the summer!
So yesterday we went out for a ‘girls birthday’ meal! In June I have a list of birthday’s to celebrate. My mom-in-law, sister-in-law, sister-in-law’s mom, aunt-in-law, old friend from school, another old friend from school and mine! June is a busy month for us – oh ya, Father’s Day too!!!!! So, last night we went to outback to celebrate 3 of the months birthdays. What fun! Just having family together is wonderful! I know that we – like everyone else – has so many things going on in our lives and running around with our kids…. but what a nice treat to just sit, talk and smile for a couple of hours with each other!
I just had to snap of photo of my girl, Aye is growing up so fast! It is hard to believe that she is only 11 still.
Yes, I am working on some beading too! I will have something new to show you tomorrow – it is my creations for the Creations Color Challenge – Red and Silver – Reveal Dates: 6/6/11 – 6/10/11.

As a featured artist I found this wonderful ‘little’ shop! TheTwelfthDimension is a wonderful studio run by a longtime artist. This ’empty nester’ has quiet a background in miniatures – and it shows! Just look at the detail in this little school house. I think my hardest part of this feature was picking the ONE item to focus on – I just love all her ‘little’ work!
