Hello & Happy Friday ⛅️!!!! How is everyone holding up?!?! How was everyone’s 3-Day weekend & Martin Luther King Day?!?! I have been having so much fun not only beading but also creating a lot of patterns…for K~Max Klub Bead-Along, for my “Pattern” section of my shop & even for the upcoming monthly kit that will be starting up again😃. Since last Friday I have been working on a New WIP…it took a few days before anyone guessed who I was working on, but someone finally guessed it was Robin from Batman & Robin!!! It is my 5×7 Kawaii-style Robin😍. Ever since I did the 5×7 Kawaii style Batman last year, there have been quite a few who have asked me; “well what about Robin?” So, Yep! Here he is-the new WIP i will soon be going over😉. After that, I have some past kits still left-unfortunately I have still not had the time to update my shop with some of the new listings, but hopefully soon that will happen😊. Then I have quite a few updates and news to discuss going on in my K~Max Klub-including a giveaway!! Let’s get started 😁!!
First up…my WIP!!!! I am so excited about this one…the 5×7 Kawaii-style Robin😃. After finishing this one (hopefully today) I will then have done both Batman & Robin!!!! This cutie was started last Friday (1/14/22) with only 5 rows & 230 beads. It was mostly background with the start of some of his hair…then after pulling my rows of 5@ a time and beading all afternoon, I managed to get to row 25 with 1,150 beads😁!! Have you all noticed that this time, I slowed down and remembered to use my row/bead counters?!?! I’m hoping to keep this up for the whole new year😉. Now, since Monday was a holiday, I didn’t post anything except to wish you all a happy MLK Day, but i did bead😁. Tuesday when I came back from the 3-day weekend, I had already gotten to row 55 with 2,530 beads…a lot of hair done and the beginning of his face starting to appear. At the end of the day, I had completed 20 more rows for a total of 75 rows with 3,450 beads. Not only was his hair mostly done, but now you can start to see his ear and his eye ‘mask’ 😃. Wednesday I started my day off with 10 more rows done (had more time before bed the night before) with a total of 85 rows done and 3,910 beads. His ear is almost done at this point and I’d say about 1/2 of his mask is completed. After beading all day until it was time to get dinner going, I ended up stopping at row 105 with 4,830 beads. OMG!!! Just look at that smirk….I just love how he is turning out so far😍!! Thursday, after being able to work on him more the night before, I was able to kick my day off with row 120 & 5,520 beads. Can you see it?!?! The start of his costume is starting to appear😁. By the end of my ‘work’ day, I stopped at row 140 with 6,440 beads. Now you could see a lot of just costume and his ‘R’ too!! Only about 12 sets ( of 5 rows @ a time) left to go!!! Now we come to today (Friday 1/21/22) and since I was able to get a bit more done before going to bed last night, I started the day out with 160 rows with 7,360 beads. I definitely think I will be able to finish him today…we shall see?!?! Moving on to Listings…unfortunately with all the hubbub of everything going on, I have not had the chance to get new listing done and put up in my shop😊. However, I would like to share with you all the fact that I do still have a few past available kits in my shop-a lot have sold out but there are still a few bracelet & art kits 😃. Also, I do have a special section just for patterns…I just might have that something special you have been looking for or even something you might not have expected to have😉. It’s been awhile since I have posted about my pattern section-but yep it’s there and do you know, if there is something you are looking for and is not there, you can pm me and I can work with you to create that special pattern you are looking for?!?! Anyways…let me show you the collage I have of what I believe I have left of the kits in my shop-you’ll find the link to that section under the photo😉.
Last but not least, we have quite a few updates & news from my K~Max Klub!!!! It has been busy this past week with both Karen & Rada posting updates about patterns that they have gotten from me, then myself posting about the upcoming bead-along and even GIVEAWAY!!! Let’s start of with the Bead-Along😉. I have now put up for my members in the Klub the next bead-along with the beads colors and counts to start prepping for next week! Now remember, the colors I have are just suggestions and you can use up what ever you have in your ‘STASH’. I will probably be starting it either Monday or Tuesday of the upcoming week with the first 50 rows😃. Keep an eye out for that post!! Then next, Karen has posted 2 updates on a pattern she had gotten from me (‘Girl on a Swing’) bracelet and then Rada also posted an update on a pattern she had gotten from me (‘5×7 Fox) tapestry. They both did such a wonderful job and it makes me so happy as well as inspiring to see people working on or finishing one of my patterns and makes me keep on wanting to create more😍. I will be showing you their posts just in case you missed seeing them and then I will also be posting the information/link for the GIVEAWAY 😃.
Well, that will bring us to the end for this week!! Next week I’ll be starting the bead-along, so keep an eye out for that and I am also hoping to get the next monthly peyote bracelet in a box kit up and listed too😃.
