Hello & Happy Friday 🌞!! Last weekend was definitely a busy one with me going to 2 Art markets😃!! By Monday I was back and ready to be at my bead tray and start a new WIP. I even had a new listing up by Tuesday and then finished the new WIP by Wednesday, only to start another new WIP Thursday 😁!! I also still have limited quantities of past art and bracelet kits to share with you all this week but no new updates or news from my K~Max Klub. Only thing from there is the past & previous bead-alongs in files to keep everyone busy and as soon as I am able to, I will try to get a new bead-along going😉…but for now, let’s get a roll on this week’s WIPs and listings!!
Let’s begin with the Blue heart cab WIP from Monday😃. I started off with a shade of blue Delica beads in size 11/0 to build up the main wall of the cab with a tubular peyote stitch. When I had the right size, I started to use size 15/0 seed beads in a darker shade to tighten and shape the beads around the heart. Like always, I finished the back side first then concentrated on closing and tightening around the front side…I nearly got there and had to stop for the day. Tuesday when I came back all I had was a few more rows to tighten around the front with the 15/0 beads then I went in and added a round of the 11/0 Delica beads to finish off the design look I was going for. Then I also added the beads for the hanger and got to start the herringbone rope-a simple twist using the shade of blue used in the van and then a lighter shade😉. Wednesday came and all I needed to do was keep up the work on the herringbone rope…I believed that I was going to be able to finish that day-and sure enough, I finished getting the rope to about 18” long and then all I need to do is add in the findings( which will all be in a sterling silver) and then get final photos and then get it up and listed…but for now, here are some of the working photos!!
Next, before we move on to the next new WIP, let me show you the new listing I put up Tuesday for this week😃. This weeks new listing is the Eeyore Kawaii Inspired Beadwoven 5×7 Artwork. This cute & charming Eeyore has been mounted and framed and is ready to be hung up or put on your favorite shelf in your home. This would be perfect for that special person who loves collecting Winnie the Pooh characters and can be passed down for generations to come as that special keepsake😉. Now let’s move on to the née WIP I started on Thursday!! This one, it it turns out-will be a little eccentric, but we’ll see how it looks when it’s done😉. I began with 5 rows and 230 beads…already something showing-when you look at this one, you have to imagine that the pink will be the hair/shadow around what you are looking at!! I finished up my Thursday with 25 rows done and 1,150 beads already put in…that’s a lot of beads already and remember this will be the size of a 5×7!! It’s now Friday morning and I’m starting my lovely day off with 30 rows and 1,380 beads…I know you really can’t see anything yet but just wait😁!!
