Hello & Happy Friday ☀️!! Let me tell you all what a great Mother’s Day weekend I had!! My husband and kids spoiled both me and my mother-in-law with a great meal, gifts & even doing the dishes!! 🥰. How was all yours?!?! I hope it was as great as mine was😃. Anyways, let’s get to the bead talk-this will be another short blog post this week…with all the festivities over the weekend I was not able to get photo shoots done for new listings, so it will just be the WIP that I started last week and have been working on this week as well and then I will post about the available limited stock of past kits and last but not least-an update in my K~Max Klub. Let’s get started, shall we?!?!
Let’s begin with the WIP 😃. This one, like I first stated last week, is a bit eccentric/eclectic but I think it’s turning out pretty good so far! Many of you have stated how different this one is from my usual ‘norm’ of patterns I do-but it’s good to get out of your comfort zone sometimes and give new things a try😉!! Last Friday I ended up leaving you all at 50 rows and 2,300 beads …it was hard to see what the pattern was but you could tell something else was about to appear😉. Monday when I came back to my bead tray, I started the day off with 55 rows and 2,530 beads. I beaded my day away until it was time to return to the real world stuff like laundry and dishes and ended up stopping at 75 rows with 3,450 beads-now you can see that it is an eye!! It’s definitely different, right?!?! Yep!! Tuesday I came back to my tray and started my day off with 80 rows and 3,680 beads…one eye and the start of seeing something in it😃. I beaded through the day and by the end of my Tuesday, I had 100 rows done & 4,600 beads put in already!! Then Wednesday morning came around and I started my day with 105 rows and 4,830 beads…could now see what seems like the nose of the face, starting to appear. I had fun beading and pulling my rows 5 at a time until it was time for my Wednesday night of fun @ BINGO and ended up stopping at 125 rows with 5,750 beads…the nose is almost complete!! Thursday morning came along and I started out with 130 rows and 5,980 bead and only a few more rows to complete the whole nose!! By the end of my Thursday I stopped at row 155 and a total of 7,130-wow!! That is a lot of beads!! The nose was complete and now it looks like the corner of the mouth is starting to show!! Then we come to Friday-today I am taking the day off beading to get ready for the Art markets this weekend 😊. So I will continue this one next week and hopefully will have time to get a new listing up for you all to see as well for next week😉. Very LIMITED QUANTITIES & once they are gone- they will stay forever GONE!! Come and check out what I have left…here you’ll see a few examples of past kits I might still have in stock-if not, someone already grabbed it up😁!!
Time for an update from my K~Max Klub!!😃. I still don’t have any new bead-alongs ready as of yet-but all previous ones are up and in our page files section…so if you need a project to keep you busy, be sure to look in there and have fun!! Don’t forget to post your work so we can all see how yours turns out and so we can inspire each other!! Also, if you have gotten any patterns or past kits and you finish-let’s see how yours turned out…speaking of which-my admin Jessica just posted last night about some of the previous kits she worked on as well as patterns from my shop!! I just love how Hera turned out and I’m glad she liked doing them and decided to share how hers turned out!! Here is what she posted in the Klub!! That’s a wrap for this week!! Short and sweet😉. I am off to make sure I get ready for the Art markets and get some house chores done.
