Good Morning 🌞 & Happy Friday Everyone!! How’s everyone’s week, this week?!?! Let me start off with a little recap-last weekend for me was super fun and was mostly spent with doing things out and about with the family and left me with little time to bead😊. This week has been a little crazy and had something new, cute & distracting going on😉, but I did manage to finish up one WIP and start another one. I was so distracted at one point that I put the wrong working photos up on Tuesday 🤦🏼♀️😂. Unfortunately I was not able to get final pictures and a new listing up for this week but I did get to put up the new Bead-along for the K-Max Klub!! I also have some other news and the Available October kits to show you…a short week but still a good one😉. Today I will be taking time away from the computer but I’ll still be beading in a ‘hit & miss’ kind of way…anyways, let me tell you about the rest of this week😉😉
Let’s begin with another little recap from last from last Friday and the WIP I was working on that day! If you’ve been following along, then you’ll remember that I left off on Friday with the blue and white ceramic cab completely bezeled with added fringe to it and starting the herring bone rope 😃. I worked on it but didn’t get to finish it that day or over the weekend either, so on Monday of this week when I came back I was ready to bead and for to finishing the rope and was even able to get the hanger added on as well. With the crazy week I had, I was unable to get the final photographs done to get a new listing for this week, but in the meantime, here are the last of the working photos😉.
Now, let me tell you about the new WIP I started late Monday 😃. This one is of the sample for the October Art in a Bag Kits. The first 5 rows show the main part of the background and already has 230 beads!! Since I started kind of late in the day, I didn’t get too much done during the ‘work day’ and ended with 15 rows and 690 beads-with a hint of something just starting to show😁. Tuesday got a bit crazy and somehow I ended up putting up the wrong working photos-but I actually did quite a bit of beading Monday night before bed, Tuesday all day and then Tuesday evening before bed and came back on Wednesday morning with 100 rows done & 4,600 beads!! At that point, you could see flowers, some flower buds, and even a little dragonfly😉. It’s hard to see in the photo, but the beads have such wonderful shine and metallic fall color to them-just love it!! I tried to get some done through out the day but was distracted and only got another 20 rows done…now making it 120 rows and 5,520 beads by the end of the work day Wednesday. Even though I didn’t get much done during the day…I did a lot that same night…and came back Thursday morning with 160 rows and 7,360 beads!! Wow!! That is a lot of rows and beads put in!! Now at that point you could see a lot more…even a butterfly sitting on the stem of the flower!! I thought maybe that I was going to finish by the end of the work day but alas… I was too distracted and by looking at the pattern, realized I was not going to finish…maybe by Friday I would?!?! Thursday I finished with 180 rows and 8,280 beads-now the butterfly on the stem is complete and there were only a few more sets to be able to finish…maybe I’ll finish it today or maybe over the weekend…but I’ll be back Monday to show you all and to start something new😉. Most of you by now have seen that I have written I have been very distracted this week and some of you might already know because you’ve been following along…but in case you haven’t been following along…I have a new BABY!! No, at 50 I am not a mom to a new baby per se, but to a new baby PUPPY!! She is just too cute and I love playing with her and getting all those puppy kisses. I mean…who wouldn’t be distracted with all that cuteness, right?!?! Here are some of the photos I’ve taken and shared on my page😍😍😍
How about some K~Max Klub News/Updates?!?! As promised, even though I was completely distracted, I put up the info for the new Bead-along and put up on the page and in the files the October Snowflake pattern for a 3×5😃. I divided it into 2 sections and they are both there…post your pictures of the sections you do-I can’t wait to see the colors you all do with this one😉. I have some other news too…I saw that my good friend Jessica has posted her work of some of my past kits, bead alongs, & even special patterns I helped her create to another group that I am in. I just love seeing it and wanted to share with you here as well as on my page😃. Here is the post I put on my page just in case you missed it😉
I am so excited to introduce to you the New Patterns/Kits for October!!! I just can’t believe how wonderfully these turned out😃. Are you all ready for some beautiful Fall/metallic colored patterns to go along with the changing seasons that are happening as we speak?!?! I have to say…these are just wow!! I love how the Fall flowers on both the Bracelet and the Art have those metallic colors that show/represent the changing of the season! The Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit & the 5×7 Art in a bag Kit for October are both done in a 2-drop peyote stitch. Let me go ahead and tell you a little bit more about each individual kit with the important dates for availability 😃.
Let’s begin with the Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit! The Kit for October features beautiful Fall/Metallic flowers for the pattern!! With each kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from September 29, 2020 until October 28, 2020 and then Kits will be mailed on or by November 5, 2020. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Now on to the Art in a Bag Kit! The Art in a Bag Kit for October features beautiful Fall/Metallic flowers and a butterfly!! With each kit, each bag will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed Art: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, and an appropriate sized canvas for mounting completed art. Kit dates are as follows: Available from September 29, 2020 until October 28, 2020 and then Kits will be mailed on or by November 5, 2020. There you have it…a short week but a good one even though I was distracted😉.
