Good Morning & Happy Friday!!🌞. How is everyone doing this week?!?! It feels like it has been a really long week this week…oh well, as long as I get to bead my creations, it’s all good😉. It’s also been a pretty exciting week as well…with rolling out the New Kits for October, finishing one WIP and starting another one, getting to list the finished WIP as a new listing too and I’ve been working on the next bead-along for my K~Max Klub members for the month of October 😃. I’ve also received news of great customer experiences from previous kits/patterns that they have bought from me!! So excited to share this week’s updates…let me just go ahead and start😉
Let’s start off with the WIP from the beginning of the week-well actually the one I started towards the end of last week and left you all at 85 rows and 4,080 beads on last Friday! During the past weekend I was able to bead some more on the Malificent kawaii inspired 5×7 Art and cane back Monday morning with 120 rows completed and a little shy of just 5,800 beads. Her face is now completely done at that point and it was time to get going on her cape/dress-just look at that face!! LOVE IT!! By Monday evening…I had a good start on the cape/dress finishing off at 135 rows and 6,480 beads. Tuesday morning came up and I kicked the day off with an added 20 rows to the 135…managed to work on it more Monday night before bed…making it 155 rows & 7,440 beads. I beaded through Tuesday afternoon and late afternoon, pulling sets of 5 rows at a time and ended up stopping for the day at 175 rows and 8,400 beads…at that point, Malificent’s sleeves are visible and now it’s basically the rest of the dress and her staff that needed to be beaded😃. Now, we come upon Wednesday morning and I started the day off with 185 rows and 8,880 bead…just worked along and already noticed that there wasn’t much left of the pattern and knew I was going to be able to finish Malificent up that same very day…and sure enough, by late afternoon I finished beading the 204 rows with a whopping 9,792 beads!! I was and am very happy with the way she turned out!! At that point, only thing left to do was to get her mounted and framed then photographed for a new listing…here are some of the working photos for now…soon you’ll see the new listing😉
Now before I move on to the new WIP, let me show you all the New Listing for this week😉. This was listed just yesterday…it’s the ‘Malificent Kawaii Inspired Beadwoven 5×7 Artwork!’ She is all ready to go…mounted and framed and ready to be hung up or put up on a special shelf!! A perfect gift for those who just love Villains…here she is…Enjoy😉.
Next up, we will talk about the new and current WIP that I pulled out late Wednesday! I first showed you the pretty blue & white ceramic cab and the bead colors…Then on Thursday I began the day by starting the walls of the bezel using a pretty rainbow pearl white 11/0 Delica bead…building up…but this cab is not thick…just curvy so I didn’t have to build the wall to high…then through the day I starting closing up the bezel on one side by alternating beads in white and blue in size 15/0 beads. I even added little ‘pickets’-which will make all the difference in the final design!!😃. By the end of Thursday, I had one side completed before it was time for me to go get dinner and then dishes done😁. So, that brings us to today-Friday!! After being able to work on it a little more the night before, I actually get to start the day off today with the bezel of the cab completely done-even the fringe!! So today will be working on the herringbone strap…let’s see if I can finish today…REMEMBER, that you can check out my Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page throughout the day to watch updates and working photos!
Time to talk about updates for my K~Max Klub & other news!! I have been working on the upcoming bead-along for October-in which I will be making the sample for during the upcoming weekend!! Are you all excited?!?! It will be a small art (3×5) and feature ❄️!!! On or before Wednesday, I should have the colors/amounts needed posted in our Klub page-so keep an eye out😉. In the meantime, don’t forget that all the previous bead-alongs can be found in the Klub file tab-so enjoy them and post those working photos-let’s keep inspiring each other😃. Now for some other news, I am excited and inspired by some posts from members about their experiences from previous kits or patterns that they have gotten from me. I am so excited to introduce to you the New Patterns/Kits for October!!! I just can’t believe how wonderfully these turned out😃. Are you all ready for some beautiful Fall/metallic colored patterns to go along with the changing seasons that are happening as we speak?!?! I have to say…these are just wow!! I love how the Fall flowers on both the Bracelet and the Art have those metallic colors that show/represent the changing of the season! The Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit & the 5×7 Art in a bag Kit for October are both done in a 2-drop peyote stitch. Let me go ahead and tell you a little bit more about each individual kit with the important dates for availability 😃.
Let’s begin with the Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit! The Kit for October features beautiful Fall/Metallic flowers for the pattern!! With each kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from September 29, 2020 until October 28, 2020 and then Kits will be mailed on or by November 5, 2020. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Now on to the Art in a Bag Kit! The Art in a Bag Kit for October features beautiful Fall/Metallic flowers and a butterfly!! With each kit, each bag will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed Art: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, and an appropriate sized canvas for mounting completed art.
