Good Morning & Happy Friday 🌞 Wow!! I can’t believe it’s already Friday…it seems just like yesterday that I was on my way to the Art Festival having so much fun and even meeting a wonderful lady who follows me on Facebook!! It was so fun and I had an amazing time…and it seems some of that amazing just kept right on going for the rest of this week as well!! I started to work and design more patterns and I can’t wait to get them finished and put them in my shop to share with you all…then try to bead and work on some as well😍. I even got to finish up the Dragonfly set, do the photo shoot and even list it as a new listing this week😉. If that’s not amazing enough, I even got to start another WIP and work on the K~Max Klub November bead-among as well!! So, I have some great stuff to share with you all…let’s get started!!
Let’s begin with the Dragonfly set WIP’ I left off on last Friday! I was just about done but I had to wrap it up and take with me to work on while I went to the Art Festival!! By the time I came back on Monday morning I had it finished with the exception of doing the photo shoot and getting it listed!! Here are the last of the working photos…which was just working on and finishing the herringbone rope 😃
Now, let’s talk about the current WIP 😃. I started this mid-day on Monday and is something new-if all goes well, it’ll turn out just as great as how I designed it😁. I started off with my first 5 rows and 230 beads…just background color for now!! As I kept pulling my rows for the rest of the day and working along, I started to see something else appear-some hair!! I ended up being able to get to row 20 with 920 beads. By Tuesday morning, I came back with a little more done and began my day with 30 rows and 1,380 beads…still not much there at this point-just more hair (if you know me and my patterns, some of you might have already guessed who it was at this point), so I kept pulling and working in more rows until by the end of the day I had 50 rows and 2,300 beads!! At that point, there was more hair, a forehead peeking out and even the top of some glasses!! Yep, it’s LUNA form Harry Potter!! Over Tuesday night I did more work on her so by Wednesday morning I came back with 65 rows and 2,990 beads…now it is visible to see her eyes and the glasses are almost done😃. I happily worked through the day pulling my sets of 5 rows at a time (that’s 230 beads per every 5 rows I pull) and reached row 85 with 3,910 beads…her glasses now complete, her mouth done and getting almost down to her chin!! Wasn’t too sure if I’d get the chance to work more on her that night (Wednesday is game night) but I was able to put in another 10 rows before Thursday morning and so I kicked off Thursday with 95 rows and 4,370 beads…her face is done and even starting to see the scarf starting to peek out! I worked away all Thursday and put in another 20 rows, ending at row 115 with 5,290 beads😁. Her scarf is done at that point and now getting into the robe!! That brings us up to Friday-today!! I ended up starting my day off with a little more rows done from the previous night and so I start at 125 rows and 5,750 beads. Let’s move on to some news & updates from my K~Max Klub😃. First off the November bead-along…it’s still going on and I have put up the next set of rows on the Klub page & in the files😉. In between working on my Luna and the kids, I have gotten 85 rows done so far and wanted to show you all what mine looks like…just so you know-I changed colors on mine to what I had on hand from my stock😉. We also have someone else who has begun the bead-along and has shared her first 50 rows with us too-Dawn!! Then, even though it is not the bead-along, Jessica has shared a memory with us from 2 years ago of past Kits of mine from that time😁. In case you all missed these wonderful postings, I am going to be sharing them all here with you all😍. Keep sharing everyone!! I love seeing all your creations that you are working on…and you never know who you might inspire!! I hope you are all enjoying these bead-alongs as much as I am and Thank you for making my love of beading that much more enjoyable!!
I am so excited to introduce you all to the New November Kits!!! I just can’t believe how wonderfully these turned out😃. For November I decided to change things up and create a knome 2 drop Peyote pattern for the Peyote Bracelet in a box kit. Then I created a wonderful nature scene of a Panda-also in 2 drop Peyote-as the pattern for the 5×7 Art in a Bag Kit. Let me go ahead and tell you a little bit more about each individual kit with the important dates for availability 😃.
Let’s begin with the Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit! The Kit for November features an Earthly Knome(gnome- thought it would be cute-you know like Krafty😉) for the pattern!! With each kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from October 29, 2020 until November 30, 2020 and then Kits will be mailed on or by December 7, 2020. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Now on to the Art in a Bag Kit! The Art in a Bag Kit for November features a wonderful Panda sitting and reaching for some yummy bamboo!! With each kit, each bag will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed Art: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, and an appropriate sized canvas for mounting completed art.
