Good morning & Happy Monday!! ☀ How is everyone doing?!?! I had a great weekend with my time spent beading and crocheting!!! Are you all ready for another Monday Blog post?!?! Last week was a good week-I finished up one WIP and started a New one too!! Then, I had TWO NEW listings and I saw that Lisa Doerr had posted in the group Seed Beads and More about the Lady and the Bird pattern created by me that she had finished ☺. There is still time for those who love my monthly kits to get the one for May-The Sun & Moon kit…this will be the last week to get this special pattern before I start preparing for the next month’s kit!! There are even still some past kits available too, to share with you-not many as a lot of them have sold out already but there are still a few bracelet kits as well as art kits to come and check out 😉! Let’s go ahead and get right into all the beading I did for last week ☺.
Today I want to start off with the Monthly kit for May!! There is a little bit of time left to get this wonderful kit that features a sun/moon combo with sunrise/stars. It is a design that features the single even count peyote stitch and will come with all the delica beads needed to complete the pattern as well as a needle and the findings and a word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally). You will receive everything needed to complete this Krafty Max Originals designed bracelet…delica beads are subject to change based upon availability ☺. The kit is available until June 17th and will be mailed on or by June 22nd. This is a pattern only available to those who purchase this kit and after June 17th will no longer be available.
Now, time to get into the WIP of the Sun & Moon sample from the May monthly kit 😉. When I came back last Monday on 6/6, I was starting off with quite a bit more then I had left off from the previous Friday (6/3 @ row 40) …kicked off that day with 70 rows (840 beads). They sky was getting lighter, and the stars were getting farther apart. As I kept pulling my rows 10 at a time and weaving them into the pattern, the moon was coming through then the sun was too by the time I had to get dinner done!! I ended up stopping at row 110 (1,320 beads). Tuesday, I started my day off with an extra set of 10 rows added with a total of 120 rows (1,440 beads) and the sun was still growing and shinning longer into the day 😉. Throughout the day, the sunrise grew longer into the day-I thought I was going to be able to finish but I ended up stopping at row 160 (1,920 beads) to go and prepare dinner ☺. So, Wednesday morning I came back to finish the last few sets of rows and began at row 180 (2,160 beads) and the sunrise was almost complete!! By mid-day I was finished with the transference from night into day with 196 rows (2,352 beads)!! It was such a fun and quick pattern to work on and I just love the way the colors blend to make such statement for this Sun & Moon pattern!! Let’s look at some of the working photos for now and soon I’ll have the listing to show you, later on in the blog 😉.
Last Friday (6/3), before I started the sun/moon WIP, I had finished a 5×7 Art WIP. Do you remember what that was?!?! If you don’t remember, I’m sure you will in a moment 😉. The first new listing from last week was that WIP I finished…the Baby Giraffe!! He is just so cute-it can be she too because it’s just too cute and too hard to distinguish boy/girl for it, but while I was working on it, I always called it a ‘he’ ☺. This 5×7 Art tapestry is a fun and cute piece to hang up or put on a shelf for any age!! It’s perfect especially for that special friend who might be welcoming a new member to their home for an eye-catching design for a nursery or for a child’s bedroom!! After finishing the sun & moon WIP last Wednesday, I had time to start the next new & current WIP!! Some of you might have already seen this one- as my dear friend/beading/marketing /blogger partner Jessica, showed us her completed version of it not too long ago in the K~Max Klub, except she did hers in a different background color 😉. Like always, I started off with the first 5 rows (230 beads) with mostly the white background and a hint of other colors appearing too. Since it was already getting late in the afternoon as I had started it, I didn’t get too far-just to row 15 (690 beads) with quite a bit more showing now-someone might already be able to guess at this point 😁. By Thursday morning, no one had been able to guess as of yet so I continued at row 30 (1,380 beads) and a lot more details coming out…I think at this point someone will be guessing who it is soon enough!! I pulled my rows of 5 (too many beads per row to pull to do more than 5 at a time 🙂) and beaded throughout the day and like all other days, it was soon time to stop to get dinner done, so at row 50 (2,300 beads) I stopped. Now his eyebrows were done!! Someone was able to guess that it was Groot-a kawaii style Groot!! Friday, I ended up starting my day off with even more rows done-was having trouble going to sleep the night before, so what better way to spend the evening then beading 😍!! Starting off at row 75 (3,450 beads) that day, his 👀 already almost done!! By the time the end of the day came around, his whole face was almost done with 95 rows (4,370 beads)!! I will be picking this back up for this week- so keep an eye out and REMEMBER, that you can check out my Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Pagethroughout the day to watch updates and working photos! For now, it’s time to look back at some of those working photos.

Finally, some news and updates from the K~Max Klub group!! I am working on a new pattern for an upcoming bead-a-long, however, I am not sure when I will start this one yet-so make sure you keep checking back in for an update on that ☺. In the meantime, there are plenty of patterns to look back at in our file tab on our group page (if you are a member-if not ask how you can become one to be able to enjoy these patterns and other stuff for this group) and have fun with 😉For now, let’s look at a post I found in Seed Beads & More Group from Facebook from Lisa Doerr who got the pattern of the Lady & Bird from me and beaded it ☺!!
