Hello & Happy Monday ☀ ♥!! Boy it has been a crazy past 2 weeks for me! I am back and safe and have been getting back on track with all my beading!! I hope all of you are safe and have made it through the crazy storm as well and getting back on track too!! I was not able to be online and post Wednesday 9/28, but I made sure that I tried to answer messages, comments and orders as long as I had internet connection and in this past week (10/3-10/9) it was pretty much back to normal. I was not able to post a blog last week so this week will be a review of these past two weeks goings-on and what I was able to finish and start as well as list-including the new kit pattern for October!! I am also super excited to show you all some of the postings of members that have been posting updates on kits, patterns or bead a-longs in the past two weeks on my K~Max Klub page ♥!! So, let’s get the beads rolling on with reviewing these past two weeks ☺!!
Let’s start out with a short review of what I was able to get through with WIP’s before the storm hit that week of 9/26…I was able to post that I had finished the sample WIP for September’s kit and start on a Bambi Art before the storm got too bad and could not post after that Wednesday morning. There were only 2 working photos left that I showed you all on 9/26 of the sample of September’s kit-instead of showing you that I will be showing you the listing of it in a little bit 😉. Then I got to start on the Bambi Art-I will show you what I was able to post about before the storm and then I will show where I started up after the storm the following week when I came back from the storm (10/3-10/9). Before the storm hit, I had been able to post up until row25 (1,150 beads) which was all background color. When I came back on 10/3 and was able to post, I had 225 rows done (10,350 beads) and boy did I have a lot done…his whole head was done and was just getting to the chest area of Bambi!! At the end of that day (10/3), I had 245 rows done (11,270 beads) and chest area was done and getting down to the legs!! Then Tuesday 10/4 I started out the day with row255 (11,730 beads) …more on the legs and background done. That day I was able to get all the way to row 275 (12,600 beads) before I had to go and get some dishes done and a few other things too 😉. Wednesday 10/5, I kicked my day off with row 280 (12,880 beads) and Bambi is complete now for this pattern and only need to finish up the border of the background…of which course I was able to finish it up that day early on at row 290 (13,340 beads)!! I was able to finish it early enough on to be able to frame him and photograph him to list him!! SO, for now, let’s look at the working photos and later I will show you the listing for him as well as the listing for the sample for the September kit!!
Now, let go ahead and look at the listings for both the Sample of the September kit and of the Bambi Art. The sample of the September kit is a beautiful Umber/Ombre Lace in fall colors and even though it is in fall colors, can be worn anytime of the year to enhance your outfit with a splash of color!! Then we have the cute Bambi portrait Art, which is perfect for those who love Disney and Bambi and will last a lifetime and then some…to be passed down for generations to come!! It is framed and ready to be hung up!! So, let’s go ahead and look at these two awesome listings and if you’d like to know more about each one-just click on their links under their photos😉!!
Later, that day (10/5), I was able to begin the first 10 rows (200 beads) of the next new colorful and fun WIP in the form of a bracelet!! There you could already see how colorful it was going to be since there was already 8 different colors!! I didn’t have too much time before I had to get dinner going at that point and ended up stopping at row20 (400 beads) where there was one other color added to the mixture and the hint of something about to appear. The next day, I began at row 30 (600 beads) and something is definitely about to appear!! I got to row 70 that day (1,400 beads) before I had to get to laundry, cook dinner and get dishes done and at that point you could finally see the image of a dog!! This past Friday (10/6), I ended up starting my day off at row90 (1,800 beads) with the dog complete and more of the very colorful background!! I pulled my rows of 10 and beaded along until I had to go and get ready for the weekend (to the Riverside Arts Market and others) and ended my day at row 130 (2,600 beads) and more colorful background. I will probably be finishing this one up today (Monday 10/10) and starting something new 😉. October is now here and that means a new pattern for a new month!! Time to do the Monthly Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit!!! This month, we have a Painting with the Moon Kit!! This is a 2-Drop peyote pattern and each kit will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart In 2-drop peyote (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from October 2, 2022 until October 31, 2022 and then Kits will be mailed on or by November 7, 2022. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with these kits!!After September 30th these patterns/kits will no longer be Available!! Delica Bead colors are subject to change!!
Time for showing you the rest of the available kits that I still have left in my shop -there are not too many left, so grab them while you can!! Remember, when these are gone, that is it!! This is the absolute last chance to get these OOAK patterns before they are gone and will no longer be offered-these ahead and look at the listing and if you’d like to know more about them, all you have to do is click on the link below and it will take you to it 😉!!
Last but not least, let’s get to some news and updates in my K~Max Klub ♥☺!! I am happy and excited to see that more members have been posting their updates from my past kits to the new kits as well as just patterns that they have gotten from me whether it be on the Klub page, my KraftyMaxOriginals page or even in a different beading group that we share!! It is a pleasure for me to see when people have posted about my kits/patterns in other groups, sharing how much fun they had or their experiences with my kits/patterns 😍!! So, it is a great joy for me to share these posts here with all of you too and hope they inspire you just like they inspire you me to create and share more!! Today I will be sharing a few posts with you from Karen, Allane, and Jessica showing you their recent finished Krafty Max patterns/kits/bead a-longs!! Did you see it?!?! The new bead a long has been posted in the Klub page!! This past Friday I had put up the colors and quantities of the beads you will need to follow along-not a member?!?! Just ask me how you can become one and you too can enjoy this bead a-long!! I will show you a sneak peek here of the bead a-long as well as those posts from the members who posted their works!! This bead a long should be starting today or tomorrow (10/10 or 10/11) …so keep an eye out and remember, you do not have to use these colors…you can use whatever colors in your stock to follow a long 😉!!
Not too bad, I must say, for having a storm wipe out half of a week and then coming back, right?!?! I have to say even though that storm came and was quite terrible, I still managed to get quite a bit of work done. I was able to work on ideas for new patterns and get the bead a long ready, list some newly finished WIP’s and even list the new kit for October!! I am grateful for all the well wishes for me and my family that everyone commented to me or sent out to me and can say that we are all well and are back into the normal groove of how things usually are for us. I hope that everyone else was able to make it through ok too if they were affected by the same storm that hit me!! I will be finishing up on the fun and colorful dog bracelet pattern and probably be starting something new-probably the bead a long piece (fingers crossed🤞) or a new pattern I recently finished -so, keep an eye out and make sure you come and visit my pages to stay up to date with anything and everything KraftyMax!!
