Good Morning 🌞!! Happy Friday!! How is everyone doing so far? After coming off a 3-day weekend…I felt relaxed and couldn’t wait to get some major beading done😃. I did get to do a little over the past weekend but by Monday morning I was excited to get my beads rolling and continue on the Batman WIP!! Overall, this week was a more ‘relaxed’ kind of week…I did get to finish the Batman WIP and then start another one…a cute ‘mermaid scales’ cabochon for my granddaughter 💕. I also had 2 new ‘strung’ jewelry listings for the week, an update for the Klub news, but the most exciting update is the new patterns for August’s Art & Bracelet Kits!!! What do you say…shall we get started?!?!
Today, let’s start a little differently…I want to begin with one of the new listings for the week😉. This listing was up on Monday and is simple, classy, and fun!! I strung purple gemstones , Swarovski crystals, and an owl together…I call it ‘Purple Gemstone & Swarovski Crystal Necklace Set’. Fun and classy for anytime of the year! Enjoy 😉!!
Now…let’s talk about the first WIP of this week😁. Monday, I continued the 5×7 Kawaii inspired Batman art. I did get to do a little more on the weekend so I started off Monday with 100 rows done and 4,800 beads…almost to his mouth and chin😃. By the end of Monday afternoon I managed to pull and work in a total of 20 rows, finishing at 120 rows and 5,760 beads…no neck but I guess that’s why he is so strong😂. I ended up having a little more time Monday night before bed and worked in another 5 rows…starting Tuesday morning off with 125 rows and 6,000 beads-now starting to see the Batman logo on his chest…I can’t tell you how hard that was to design!!! By the end of Tuesday afternoon I had completed another 20 rows, reaching 145 rows and 6,960 beads…now his belt and gloves can be seen😃. Wednesday I was still working on him and started the day off with 160 rows & 7,680 beads( I managed to get another 15 rows Tuesday night before going to bed😉). I thought I was going to be able to finish him up on Wednesday…was so close but I wasn’t able to…finished the day up with 180 rows and 8,690beads and the main part of Batman is complete but I still have more to finish on the background. Come Thursday morning, I had managed 15 rows the night before, starting off with 195 rows and 9,360 beads…one more set to go!!! By early Thursday afternoon I finished him….now just needed to get time to frame him and picture him…of which I was unable to so he’ll have to wait until Monday next week to be listed. Let’s take a look at some of the working photos for now😉😃
Before I move on to the other WIP for this week, let me show you the other new listing😃. This was the listing I put up for Tuesday…,Green Swarovski Crystal & White Pearls with White Pearls Necklace’. Simple, Elegant, & perfect for anytime of the year…enjoy😉!!
Now…let’s talk about the other WIP for this week 😃. This was started yesterday afternoon(Thursday after finishing Batman)…for those of you who might not know, I have a 5 year old granddaughter 😍. She’s always seeing her mom, grandmother, aunt, and everyone around her wear my ‘pretties’ and she has asked me for one…now is the time!! I am doing this ‘mermaid scales’ cab for her💕. Thursday I was able to get the walls built up using pretty shades in blues & teals, which are her favorite colors😃. By the end of the night I was able to complete the center and even start the strap!! That is where I am starting today off!! I started the herringbone rope in rounds of 4 instead of six…not sure I am liking how it is turning out but for now I will continue on with it before I decide is I’ll have to scrap it and start over….let’s see where it’ll take me and whether I’ll finish this today or not…REMEMBER, that you can check out my Facebook Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page throughout the day to watch updates and working photos!
Time for some updates for/from my K~Max Klub!! One of the members-Jessica Lane, recently got the 5×7 Kawaii inspired Sally pattern from me and she just posted in the Klub her finished piece…she used all the suggested colors from the pattern and I must say, it came out very Lovely!! This is one I have not yet don’t but plan on getting one made for my shop soon😉. I want to share her picture here with all of you but before I do…I hope you are all enjoying the beadalong I put up for July!! If you have had time to work on it…show us what you have so far-let’s inspire eachother😃. Also, I am in the stages of planning our next bead along for August…can’t believe it will already be August come tomorrow!! So keep an eye out…if all goes well with what I have in mind….maybe a little Xmas in August?!?!? We’ll have to wait and see😉😉😉. Here is Jessica’s picture she shared in the Klub 😃
It’s time to introduce you all to the Patterns/Kits for AUGUST!! I just can’t believe how wonderfully these turned out😃. Are you all ready for some beautiful imagery/nature patterns?!?! I have to say…these are just wow!! I love the lotus flowers, but I have to say I think the change of seasons pattern just might be my all time favorite design I have created…so much detail in a little 5×7 Art!! I will be doing a Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit with a new pattern( Lotus flowers in single drop peyote) for August and I have decided to do another 5×7 Art in a Bag Kit for August!! This month’s 5×7 Art pattern is a pattern in 2 drop peyote!! Let me go ahead and tell you a little bit more about each individual kit with the important dates for availability 😃.
Let’s begin with the Peyote Bracelet in a Box Kit! The Kit for August features beautiful Lotus Flowers in a ‘ying & yang’ look for the pattern!! With each kit, each box will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed bracelet: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, plated bar ends and findings. Kit dates are as follows: Available from July 29, 2020 until August 28, 2020 and then Kits will be mailed on or by September 5, 2020. A little FYI about kits…The PATTERN is ONLY available with this kit!! Delica Bead colors are subject to availability!!
Now on to the Art in a Bag Kit! The Art in a Bag Kit for August is a beautiful and inspiring ‘Changing of Seasons’ imagery pattern!! With each kit, each bag will contain everything you need to create a Krafty Max Originally designed Art: A printed word chart (a color chart can be requested and be sent digitally), a needle, All Delica beads, and an appropriate sized canvas for mounting completed art. Kit dates are as follows: Available from July 29, 2020 until August 28, 2020 and then Kits will be mailed on or by September 5, 2020. Wow, you really do fabulous work. Jessica Lane did a wonderful job on the Kawaii inspired Sally pattern. Your 5 yr. old granddaughter’s going to love her “mermaid scales” pretty necklace. Those colors are beautiful.
